Los sujetos sapienciales que tal filosofía privilegia pueden considerarse “sentipensares situados”. In particular, the state of speechlessness caused by migration has so far received little philosophical attention. Hence, this article explores speechlessness due to migration based on a dialectical human existence (Dasein). The condition of loss of language is philosophically significant because it shows who we are and who we can become through migration. It also unveils the individual and his or her development, as well as the condition of the receiving societies. {"title":"Paths of Reforestation of Thinking: Interculturality from Indigenous Philosophies","authors":"Magali De Menezes","doi":"10.21500/22563202.6598","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21500/22563202.6598","url":null,"abstract":"This text aims to affirm Indigenous philosophies as wisdom that contributes significantly to the way of thinking/feeling education and philosophy. From the Western tradition, philosophy has been constituted from the rupture of what we call mythical thought. Indigenous philosophies, however, start from the mythical narrative, symbolic thought, dreams, orality, and all the ancestry they carry to constitute their cosmologies. To affirm Indigenous thought is, therefore, to recover what was denied, showing that philosophy does not have a single soil of origin (Greece), but is built in different territories and historical times. The negation of indigenous philosophies translates, in many moments, to the very ontological negation of those who have produced and continue to produce thought. Therefore, Indigenous philosophies are forms of reforestation of monocultural rationality and can compose other political-pedagogical exercises, in which good living is a central element. To achieve this, I analysed 94 documents, including articles, dissertations, and book chapters published in several national and international databases in the period from 2013 to 2023. The review of these studies also serves as a means to understand how different scholars have analysed textbooks in their contexts. This article is derived from a doctoral study that stems from my personal and professional interests. The research presents seven tensions that reveal traditional ways of analysing textbooks over decades, the need for deeper critical intercultural views, biased cultural and intercultural representations, uncritical literacy practices, coloniality of being, bilingual policy hegemony, and controlled evaluation, selection, and use of EFL textbooks. All this means that there is a need to consider critical interculturality as an attempt to decolonize traditional ways of teaching at different educational levels of education. Primero, los rasgos de la perspectiva intercultural en clave de la configuración de lo humano; segundo, el reconocimiento de las epistemes desde la interculturalidad; tercero, la emergencia de las pedagogías latinoamericanas a partir de las sociedades en movimiento; y cuarto, la comprensión de algunas consecuencias antropológicas y epistémicas que se desprenden de los movimientos analizados para restablecer las pedagogías latinoamericanas. El enfoque de la hermenéutica intercultural se diferencia por el valor antropológico, epistémico y ontológico, orientado hacia el reconocimiento de los logos que emergen en las culturas, enfatizando en significados y prácticas vividas. El método de revisión documental en fuentes de carácter teórico-académico y legal-normativa busca observar organizaciones, posturas políticas, sujetos y contextos. {"title":"Russian Philosophy on the Problem of War and Peace and Intercultural Dialogue","authors":"E. Demenchonok","doi":"10.21500/22563202.6723","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21500/22563202.6723","url":null,"abstract":"This article analyzes the contribution of Russian philosophy to the humanistic tradition of promoting dialogical relations and peace. It highlights the peaceful significance of Leo Tolstoy’s ethics of nonviolence, Vladimir Solovyov’s concept of omniunity, and Mikhail Bakhtin’s dialogical philosophy. Dialogue is conceived not only as communication but also as a metaphysics of personality and meaning and as dialogical relationships at the intersubjective, social, and intercultural levels. These ideas were developed in contemporary intercultural philosophy both in Russia and Latin America. The article also analyzes the obstacles to dialogical and peaceful relations, aggravated by hegemonic geopolitics. The rise of global consciousness and anti-war movements led to the end of the Cold War in 1990 and created opportunities for a positive transformation of societies and the international system. But these opportunities were torpedoed by the neoconservative “revolution” and the U.S. policy of global hegemony in a unipolar world, triggering a new Cold War and the arms race, which threaten the future of humanity. This policy resulted in NATO’s hybrid proxy war in Ukraine, which sought to inflict a “strategic defeat” on Russia. But countries that do not want to be dominated are striving for an alternative, multipolar world of independent sovereign states, based on relations of dialogue between equals and collaboration to solve social and global problems and peace. This alternative takes shape in BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and other associations, based on sovereign equality, a balance of interests, and consensus. {"title":"Desocultamiento del neoliberalismo soterrado en el concepto de inclusión, mediante la filosofía intercultural: inclusión neoliberal e interculturalidad","authors":"Israel Arturo Orrego Echeverría, Manuel Leonardo Prada Rodríguez","doi":"10.21500/22563202.6751","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21500/22563202.6751","url":null,"abstract":"En este texto se explica y problematiza el concepto de inclusión en el ámbito educativo, puesto que implica aceptar el neoliberalismo que lo sustenta ideológicamente; con ello, se perpetúan las estructuras injustas de la sociedad que, bajo el binarismo que lo caracteriza, excluyen los saberes bioculturales no occidentales. Los antecedentes son algunos textos de filosofía latinoamericana y filosofía intercultural, desde los cuales se explica que, para el neoliberalismo, la inclusión es de utilidad para arrasar con las creencias y prácticas bioculturales de las comunidades marginadas, al intentar homogeneizarlas con la cultura occidental. Dado que la inclusión educativa refleja la lógica del neoliberalismo, la hipótesis apunta a la necesidad de una filosofía intercultural que defienda las creencias y prácticas de la diversidad epistémica. Lo anterior se justifica en que algunos Estados promueven la inclusión de poblaciones marginadas en el sistema educativo y en el laboral como forma de contrarrestar la exclusión del sistema económico capitalista. Sin embargo, la inclusión impone normas occidentales que uniforman a las personas excluidas.
