There are many cases where decision-makers and governmental authorities do not clearly distinguish between the investment likelihood alternative scenarios and the effectiveness of the investment to the business ecosystem. This especially applies to decisions regarding the implementation of capital-intensive projects where large amounts of capital are reserved, which is a major concern in the planning and business development process. Therefore, the appraisal of the investment effectiveness to business ecosystem into the project lifetime is very critical to support decision-makers. The key objective of the paper is to define and quantify the overall contribution of the capital-intensive project to a business ecosystem during its lifecycle. The paper provides a compact and applicable methodological framework providing quantitative results in terms of the overall income generated into the project life cycle. According to a deterministic approach, the key variables based on the project financial viability and likelihood scenarios are presented. The numerical application deals with the development of a new logistic center in Greece, stimulating new business opportunities by establishing a new freight transportation corridor from Black Sea to Southeast Mediterranean.

Professional drivers are, in general, exposed to a workspace that is limited, vibrations, uncomfortable seats and forced position meanwhile prolonged sitting. The objective of our study was to investigate psychosocial risk factors among Slovene professional drivers’ samples in a crosssectional study. The data collection was performed by the use of a survey questionnaire, which was distributed among professional drivers. The research was conducted on 259 professional drivers; 125 train drivers, 57 bus drivers, 57 truck drivers and 20 other drivers (eg. taxi drives). The cooperation in the survey was anonymous and voluntary. The measurement for coping with psychosocial risks and absenteeism – OPSA was used, which is divided into two parts 1) a general part (which includes sociodemographic and health related information about the employees as well as 2) the part that focuses on employee psychosocial load evaluation. With the use of analysis of variance, we tested wheatear there were statistically significant differences in OPSA statements among mentioned groups of drivers. There is no evidence that the psychosocial risk factors (OPSA profile) are statistically significantly different between specific groups of drivers. However, could be noted that bus and train drivers are the most vulnerability occupational groups among professional drivers.

In this context, expected travel times explain more about the remoteness of starting locations than geographic distance. Applied to service facilities, these time‐based measures of remoteness amount to measures of physical accessibility to services. However, traditional survey‐based measures of time suffer from problems of inaccurate reporting and standard survey error. Instead, this study built a geographic information system–based cost time model of travel that enables more accurate and generalizable assessment of accessibility. Having validated the generic model and compared it with other popular metrics, the study demonstrates its value by inputting a variety of services into it. This paper provides descriptive analyses of accessibility trends to these services at national, provincial, municipal, and geographic scales and suggests research possibilities unlocked by such a general purpose model. The paper concludes with thoughts for how the data and analysis, both freely available public goods, can enable additional research and better policy making.

We have two models of fan-aquadrones such as the MAR21 prototype and MAR27 prototype. Initially, the MAR21prototype has a large structure to facilitate the carrying of food, medicines, and water to areas were affected severally by any flood or Tsunami. At the same time, the MAR21 prototype can handle also to do it a deep cleaning service of any area was affected by a flood or Tsunami subsequently. Additionally, the MAR21 prototype and MAR27 prototype offer to government and humanitarian agencies an alternative emergency maritime transportation system in case of floods or Tsunami disasters. The MAR21 prototype and MAR27 prototype construction is based on a high reception radio control system, a modern GPS system, high reception antenna and radar systems, HD cameras (live), powerful batteries, high resistance ESC systems, and powerful electric motors to support large operation in case of a flood or Tsunami rescue and relief operations anytime. The design of the structure of the MAR21 prototype and MAR27 prototype have special characteristics that can be adapted to any weather condition, temperature levels, and levels of water respectively. In fact, the cost of production of MAR21 prototype and MAR27 prototype is relatively cheap and easy for his construction according to this research. On the other hand, the MAR27 prototype is a smaller fan-aquadrone that can help to monitoring and scanning the pre and post flood or Tsunami disaster by using advanced GPS system, HD cameras with high resolution to observe the levels of damage in real time. Finally, the MAR21 prototype and MAR27 prototype are complementary emergency maritime transportation systems that can help in any case of floods or Tsunami rescue and relief operations rapidly and efficiently.
These perspectives are considered with a consideration of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) principles and the traditional framework of EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) integration. The article examines national legal differences, such as the existence of regulations for PPPs, possible models for project realization and spheres where PPP could be used. The author also analyzes the characteristics of the most famous PPP projects in the EAEU. \u0000The purpose of the article is to identify practical recommendations for the development of public-private partnerships to further cooperation between the EAEU countries. \u0000This research stems from the study of international experiences of public-private partnerships, the adaptation thereof, and clarification of the necessary steps for the most efficient development of PPP in EAEU countries. As such, the following priority steps for EAEU countries are suggested: \u00001) EAEU countries should take steps to unite their respective legislative bases in terms of mutual compatibility so that public and private partners could act as inhabitants of the Union everywhere, removing not only customs barrier obstacles for them, but also additional tax restrictions; \u00002) EAEU countries should create an international council for problems and disputes pertaining to PPP which will include representatives of the countries of EAEU, representatives of the business and scientific communities and non-profit associations. Such a council was recommended to be set up at the United Nations during the third session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe on the problems of international public-private partnership, held in Geneva (Switzerland) on 18-19 April 2011; \u00003) EAEU countries should make use of practical experience in the implementation of interstate PPP projects. An example of a successful interstate PPP - the project for expansion and modernization of the international airport in Warsaw, through which more than 85% of all passengers of international flights have passed.

We explain trends in traffic accidents as a function of the political cycle using municipal data from Italy. We show that during municipal election years, the accident rate increases by 1.5%, with a 2% increase in the injury rate but no effect on the fatality rate. The effects are stronger in the quarter prior to the election quarter, when the electoral campaign is at its zenith, and in the second quarter after the election for the new elected mayor. We show that this is the result of a decrease in tickets for traffic violations (rate and revenues) during election years. Our results are robustly driven by the municipal political cycle defined in different ways, and their magnitude and direction are not explained by the spillover effects between municipalities. Proximity to a national police station reduces the impact of local elections on injury rates.

PPP is an implementation option and infrastructure service that provides incremental benefits as well as private financing access to promote the government. This study aims to provide a new concept that combines PPP with society (people) to become a public-private-people partnership (PPPP). Therefore, to analyse the state-of-the-art schemes of PPPP, a meta-analysis method is employed that is based on a literature study. However, this PPPP concept is a framework to encourage the society (people) to participate more, especially in land acquisition. The land can be owned by individuals or traditional (communal) society (masyarakat adat). The results of this paper are in the form of a conceptual framework of PPPP as a new financing model for infrastructure development, where the PPPP concept involves the current PPP financing scheme and societal participation, whether in terms of legal aspects and policies or institutional matters. This new concept can help the society (people) to have prosperous welfare together with the institution under PPPP, as well as to not depend on the state budget, as it increases private equity.

In addition, international guidelines illustrate that the provision of basic services to the poor can help eradicate poverty too. However, since these are not readily available and accessible around world, the issue received universal recognition through the Millennium Development Goals on eradication of extreme poverty and hunger. Against this backdrop, the Government of India launched the Basic Service to Urban Poor Program (BSUP) under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission as a mandatory urban poverty reform. This research paper conducts an impact assessment of BSUP in Chandigarh, India. Further, to evaluate its impact on transforming quality of life of the urban poor, both before and after circumstances have been discussed. Research findings show that much has been accomplished through targeted efforts under this program in the city by the slum dwellers gaining access to improved water sources and sanitation facilities, and proper housing. However, the agenda for poverty reduction remains unfinished and the paper makes policy recommendations for better outcomes from the BSUP.

This is especially true in the circumstance of loyalty programs. Blockchain is a public, digital, and distributed database solution providing decentralized management of transactional data. This technology is transforming society in ways that were previously unimaginable. Whether it be the way individuals use their phones, cars, or the healthcare system, blockchain is applicable for a variety of economic sectors and transactions. Although many may argue that blockchain is in its early development stage, it still possesses the power to revolutionize industries and consumer habits at a global scale. Through implementation of blockchain for loyalty networks, companies eliminate the limitations and inefficiencies while elevating the customer experience with secure and immediate redemption options from a variety of vendors. Despite evolving rapidly, its implementations provide better security, privacy, performance, usability, data integrity, and scalability, to name a few. Hence, blockchain is likely to entice any individual for instantaneous incentives for every purchase. This paper aims to analyze the current, traditional loyalty programs and the challenges associated with them. It highlights how blockchain can resolve these challenges and provide a better experience. This report further explores the various types of loyalty programs that currently exist in the blockchain ecosystem and provides potential future implementations. Finally, the paper analyzes the implementation of coupons in comparison with loyalty points programs, highlighting the vast spread of blockchain implementation.
