The data of this study are quotations in the novel that are in accordance with the value of character education. The results of the study can be concluded that first, the structure of the novel Mengejar-ngejar Mimpi (The Pursuit of Dream) by Dedi Padiku includes (a) the theme: the struggle of Dedi Padiku characters in pursuing their dreams. (b) the maincharacter: Dedi Padiku, whileadditional figures: Iyen, Alun, Suwanda, Iwan, Iton, and Budi prosper. (c) plot: forward, (d) the background is divided into 3, namely; place setting, time setting, and situation setting. Secondly, the value of character education in the novel \"Mengejar-ngejar Mimpi\" by Dedi Padiku is 9, namely discipline, hard work, independence, curiosity, fond of reading, responsibility, religious, respectful of achievement, firendly/communicative. Third, the novel Mengejar-ngejar Mimpi by Dedi Padiku can be used as a teaching material for Indonesian language learning in high school, because it is an accordance with the 2013 curriculum contained in the syllabus, which is about the novel structure found in even semester XII. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest study design. The population in this study were all VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Sui Ambawang. While the sample is class VIII A students who are selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument consisted of essay questions. The data collection technique in this study used a test. This study concludes that: (1) The results of the research data analysis were obtained that the calculation of the normality test using the chi square formula and homogeneity with the F-test formula on pretest and post-test states that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous, (2) hypothesis testing using T-test parametric statistics obtained that T-count is greater than T-table. The value of students before treatment is still low, while after being given treatment has a significant increase. (3) From the results of the T-test it can be concluded that there are differences between the groups taking the learning to write instructions using the picture and picture cooperative learning models with groups that do not use the picture and picture cooperative learning models, and there is effectiveness in using the picture and picture cooperative learning models type of writing instruction skills in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Sui Ambawang. Lesson textbooks often only provide basic material about writing poetry without developing how creative it is. This makes the learners difficult in the process of writing poetry. Therefore, the solution of the problem is to develop poetry writing materials based on the poet's experience to be used in the learning process. This research method is using research and development. Based on the results of the interview can be concluded that the ability to write poetry is determined based on an understanding of the elements and forms of poetry writing as well as poet’s experience. The process of writing poetry taken through several stages: (1) seeking ideas based on experience; (2) to process the idea by looking for impression and implied message; (3) deepening into the heart and mind; (4) conduct the process of contemplation and reflection, by living, thinking, feeling and interpreting every event; (5) begin the writing process by concreting the experience; (6) revise the poetry product. The developed teaching materials are presented from the basic competencies of the knowledge and skill competence learning. Based on experiments on teaching materials developed it is known that the average value of the ability to write poetry exceeds the minimum criterion score, so that the teaching materials used have been effective. Social and political changes have influenced the role of the development of Russian literature. This paper discusses the power of the media to help the development of Russian literature. Starting from the discovery of the letter Cyrrilic by Saint Cyrril and Methodius in 988, and subsequently developed to be widely known throughout the world. The problem in this paper is how unique the development of Russian literature relates to the power of the media. And the purpose of this paper is to know that media power greatly influences the development of Russian literature. Through a historical approach, the paper presents several periods of Russian literature; Ancient Russia, the Soviet Union, Glasnost, and Post Glasnost. Starting from the invention of printing machines that influenced the world of literature, where literary works were printed and spread throughout the world. The number of readers of literature are increasing. The author became more widely known. The impact of social and political developments in Russia is shown in literary works that tell the life of the people. In the Soviet era, some works were banned. But the authors can publish their work through Samizdat and Tamizdat. The situation changed after Gorbachev declared glasnost and perestroika. The freedom of writing is given to the writer. In the late 1980s many works previously circulated in the form of samizdat were officially published. Furthermore, in the 20th century, the internet became part of the literature. Free online availability of twenty or more prominent literary magazines has prompted critics to question whether the electronic version will reduce people's reading interest. But not everyone likes reading literature through online. Since translation is not an easy work, the translators should carry out a good amount of knowledge in linguistics, cultural aspect, and other skill related to human life. Occasionally, a faulty in translation causes a violation in the result and is inacceptable in the target text. The aim of this research is to identify the grammatical problems in students’ abstract translation in IAIN Metro. The data was taken fromtranslation in IAIN Metro. The data was taken from 20 abstract translations of students’ undergraduate theses in IAIN Metro. Observation, documentation, and note taking are the techniques in collecting the data. This research used human instrument to analyze the data. To analyze the data, the researcher applied Miles and Huberman Model that consists of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. The result shows that most students make some grammatical errors in translating abstract. The researcher found 182 errors in total from 5 categories that are verb, number, s-v agreement, parallelism, and unnatural structure. The product of interactive multimedia on reading learning were explaining the pictures, charts, graphs, diagrams or matrices in the form of software stored on CD (Compact Disc). The scoring results of media assessments were (1) 77 provided by media expert with good criteria, (2) 98 provided by practitioner (teacher) with very good criteria, and (3) 95.5 provided by field test with very good criteria. This study uses the form of Preexperimental design with One-Group pretest-posttest design research design. The population in this study were all seventh graders of Al-Fatah Cileungsi Bogor Madrasah Tsanawiyah with a total of 112. The sampling technique used probability sampling. Probability sampling technique used is simple random sampling and obtained a sample of 42 students. Research instruments in the form of tests. Data collection techniques in this study use tests to make narrative essays. The results of the research data analysis concluded that the calculation of the normality test with the formula chi square and homogeneity with the F test at the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed and homogeneous, then hypothesis testing using parametric statistical t-test obtained 11.70>, (α = 5% and dk = 40) 2,021. The students' scores before being treated were an average of 62.83 with the number of students completing 3 students, and the non-complete students were 14 students, after the treatment was an average of 73.25 with the number of students completing 23 students, and that is not complete as many as 2 students. From the results of the t-test, it was concluded that there was a influence in the use of mind mapping methods on the ability to write narratives in class VII students of MTs Al-Fatah Cileungsi Bogor. The Kremil community is a marginalized group and a troubling prostitution area for Indonesian’s people, especially in Surabaya. The form of women’s marginalization that can be observed are control over productive power, sexuality, women's motion, opinion right, ownership of assets or other economic resources, and disturbance in social condition. Marginalization of women character comes from three main factors: family, state, and economy. Efforts against marginalization aren’t carried out by all female characters.
