The measurement of quasi monostatic radar channel is done in anechoic chamber. The time gating technique is used for removing the effect of mutual coupling between transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) antennas. The personal computer (PC) case is used as the target under test (TUT). The vector network analyzer (VNA) is used to measure transmission coefficient in frequency range covered ultra wideband (UWB) that is 3–11 GHz. The double-ridged waveguide horn antennas are used as Tx and Rx antennas with vertical polarization. The complex frequency transfer function at each angle is used to evaluate the RCS of TUT. The RCS with time gating are shown and compared with that without time gating. From the results, we can see that the proposed measurement scheme can be increased the accuracy of RCS that evaluated from quasi monostatic radar with dense mutual coupling between Tx and Rx antennas.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"104 9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129709033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we address the problem of super-resolution mapping by combining a set of random forests with a Markov random field (MRF) model. Here, a random forest is trained to estimate a class proportion of only one land cover class. Thus, there are equal number of random forests as the number of land cover class. Then, the MRF model is used to choose the mostly likely super-resolution map from all the possibility that yield the similar class portion.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"182 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116218018","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study also compared the EEG power spectrum both before and after the shoulder massages by machine. The samples included five healthy participants aged 30–50 years. All participants received the shoulder massages by machine for 30 minutes. The power spectrum were individually measured with the lightweight electroencephalogram (EEG). The measurement results were analyzed in order to calculate means and standard deviations as well as compared by using the paired t-test. After the experiment, the means of the alpha band was significantly changed at the significance level of 0.05 (p = 0.01). The means of the delta, theta, and beta bands were not significantly changed at the significance level of 0.05. Therefore, the shoulder massage by machine might be significantly relax for the people's bodies.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121359658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

And with smart devices getting integrated into our living environment, a smart toilet that could monitor the change in urine odor to indicate the health status through analysis of urine would be of great importance. For this reason, we have developed an electronic nose based on eight metal oxide gas sensors in this work to functional as a system that can analyze urine odor. To evaluate the performance of gas sensors, we have performed tests from three groups of urine obtained from healthy, diabetic and alcohol-drinking volunteers. Representatively, the highest sensing response was found to be demonstrated by the sensor TGS2603 and the lowest by MQ8. Overall, all the gas sensors have shown excellent sensitivity to the changes in the urine odor. The discrimination ability of the e-nose evaluated by principal component analysis (PCA) could successfully group and discriminate urine odors based on the volatile organic compounds presented in its head-space.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"189 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127246742","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The influence of these parameters should be considered from the design stage. This paper investigates the effect of distance and proposes a method to estimate the distance with maximum output power for air-core coils. The effect of operating frequency focused on the frequency splitting phenomena is investigated. Results have shown that tighter coupling does not always result in higher power transfer. An optimal distance corresponding to the maximum power transfer is proposed. Regardless of the frequency splitting phenomena, the critical coupling distance is determined using the proposed method for the maximum power transfer.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132520745","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
