However, EMG technique doesn't fit to measure the dynamic parameter of motion. For instance, EMG is difficult to measure the joint angle changing. Bio-impedance method is a non-invasive, high performance method. This article evaluates the elbow joint movement using Bio-impedance, the correlation between the elbow joint angle changing and the upper arm bio-impedance changing has been calculated. A one-channel Bio-impedance measurement device with a goniometer has been designed in this study. The bio-impedance device generates high-frequency, low-intensity alternating constant current to human body and measure the bio-impedance signal. 20-kHz, 45-kHz, 50-kHz and 70-kHz has been investigated in the experiment. The one-channel bio-impedance measurement device includes of Wein oscillator, Howland constant current source, high-pass filter, the instrument amplifier INA 128, rectifier, low-pass filter and direct current coupling. Three electrode configurations were applied to compare the influence from each electrode configuration to the correlation calculation. Four male and two female have participated in the experiment of 70-kHz with three electrode configuration. In the experiment of 20-kHz, 45-Khz and 50-kHz, only one subject has participated in these experiments. The motion setting of 45-kHz is different with other frequency condition, it consists of 9 stages. Subject lifted their arms from 0 degrees to 80 degrees and kept their arm at each 10 degrees. The other motion setting consists of 4 stages. Subject lifted their arms from 0 degrees to 90 degrees and kept their arm at each 30 degrees. In multi-frequency with different electrode configurations condition, the result of 45-kHz, 50-kHz and 70-kHz contribute high correlation between the elbow joint angle changing and upper arm bio-impedance changing. However, the result of the 20-kHz condition is not stable. In the multi-subject experiment, each subject contributes high correlation result in the 70-kHz condition with three electrode configurations.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121791525","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A 300V 5-level diode clamped multilevel is operated as power source for contactless power transfer with a selective harmonic elimination(SHE) technique, and the output is set at 48 V 300W with the efficiency at 92.6%. The converter generates 200 kHz switching frequency to send a highly magnetic coupling through primary coil over ferromagnetic material in tight coupling condition. The paper aims are to eliminate the electric shock, galvanic isolation and arch free in dc to dc power conversion. Additionally, the lower %THD can reduce designed parameters which mean the power density will be increased. The output will be illustrated in both simulation and implementation results.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125693791","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work, we propose two nonlinear equalizers based on neural network (NN). One involves symbol decision of received signals using a multilayer perceptronNN equalizer (MLPNNE) only, and the other includes the NN equalizer to shape received signal to a partial-response target followed by a maximum likelihood (ML) sequence detection scheme using Viterbi algorithm (ML-MLPNNE). When applied to nonlinear channels generated by Volterra model (VM), it is shown that these two proposed equalizers give similar BER performances. At the BER of 10−4, they provide about 10-dB SNR gains over the conventional partial-response maximum likelihood (PRML) technique. The MLPNNE with the simple threshold needs simpler implementation than the ML-MLPNNE although noise correlation is a disadvantage.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131885175","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

High speed, high-security communication was achieved with an add/drop filter system and PANDA ring resonator optical equipment. The technique employed coding-decoding generated by public and private optical keys in frequency and time domains using a high-security tunnel. This novel technique provided high speed optical communication using light processing without electric control circuits. Restrictions on the operation of various equipment parameters affected the optical data communication signal intensity. The suitable signal ray data intensity was less than 200% of the signal ray intensity used for generating the optical public and private keys. This new technique ran and transmitted encrypted data efficiently to the receiver.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129921159","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper proposes a method of preventive maintenance budget allocation for electric power distribution utilities. First, the customer outage costs are calculated by using customer damage function and actual statistical recorded interruption data. Then, the optimization problem is formulated. The total monetary costs that are the sum of utility preventive maintenance budget, utility's lost income from electricity charge due to power outage, and customer outage costs are considered as the objective function for this problem. The constraints are that the reliability indices, i.e. SAIFI and SAIDI, of all 12 regions of Thailand must not exceed the targets. The optimization is solved by linear programming method. The results of the optimization are the optimal allocated maintenance budget for each region and the associated maintenance activities which yields the most cost-effective.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130697337","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also, bioinformatics data based big-data technology is rising rapidly as a core technology by the bio-informatician, biologist and big-data scientist. Especially, most big data analyses are based on network analyses because it can discover characteristics and patterns between data in a network. However, a biological network analysis requires a lot of time and effort because biological networks are high volume and very diverse. In this paper, we proposed a network crawling, clustering and visualization system that crawls literatures and papers from user interest a web site, constructs a biological network based on a hierarchy structure of biological entities and relations extracted from sentences in the literatures and papers and visualizes relations and interactions of the network by clustering and selecting core nodes from the network. Finally, we construct a Alzheimer's disease network collected from PubMed and show the results on clustering and selecting core nodes from the network.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134197091","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We design the spectrophotometer which gives the data same with the spectrophotometer. However, the color of solution has specific light absorbance coefficient to each color of light. Therefore, there are 2 things to know for measuring the solution. They are color of light and color of solution. Therefore, the device must have 3 parts, a color light sensor part, a color solution part and a calculation part. This target of this research is the development of the color light sensor part. The light source is a power RGB LED. The light detector uses the color sensor which has 3 color light detector. This sensor measures the light transmitting the solvent (water).
