This paper first investigates impacts of smart functions on system performance if they are installed in rooftop solar inverters. An optimization is then formulated based on conflicts that have been revealed. Through simulations in a typical Japan low-voltage system with real data, investigation and optimization results show that optimal inverter settings for rooftop solar are feasible and they could help improve system performance.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121472886","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

BTCS is modeled by linear multi-agent system subjected to undirected communication topology. The main advantage of the proposed scheme is that it gives good performance despite existing the interconnection among rooms. In this paper, the ILC design is formulated as computing control input updating. Moreover, we apply ILC to a four-connected room model. It aims that the temperature of each room in building is controlled by a central controller. Finally, numerical results illustrate the effectiveness of ILC.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123686801","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These words cover a noteworthy bundle of archives that have no semantic significance. So, the stop words ought to be removed for better language description. In this paper, we have proposed a proficient algorithm which will eliminate the Urdu document stop words. Many considerable efforts have been performed in the areas like natural language processing (NLP), stemming for Urdu language and sentence limit disambiguation. However, there is no such work available for Urdu language that can remove the stop words from an Urdu document. That is the motivation behind this work that we proposed stop words elimination algorithm from Urdu language documents. This is being carried out for the first time in Urdu language by our proposed algorithm.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"144 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114227668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The placement of the 4G mobile phone was on the participants' left ear. Only seven healthy participants were participated, but measured twice on two days. A wearable lightweight electroencephalogram (EEG) was selected as it was a small mobile device used for short-term brain monitoring systems. However, the use of wireless wearable EEG systems was limited due to the risks posed by the wireless RF communication radiation in a short-term exposure to the human brain. During each assessment, EEG activity and radiofrequency radiation were also recorded. EEG power spectra including delta, theta, alpha, beta, and gamma activity were computed by offline analysis. Significant radiation effects were found for delta, theta, alpha and beta frequency bands with statistically significant. The results support the notion that EEG alterations are associated with mobile phone usage.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123316024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has MapReduce engine for distributing data to each node in cluster. Compression is a benefit way of Hadoop cluster because it not only can increase space of storage but also improve performance to compute job. Recently, there are some popular Hadoop's compression codecs for example; deflate, gzip, bzip2 and snappy. An over-all compression in MapReduce, Hadoop uses a compressed input file which is gzip and bzip2. This research goal is to improve a computing performance of wordcount job using a different Hadoop compression option. We have 2 scenarios had been test in a study as follows: Scenario I, we use data compression with map output, results found the better execution-time with only snappy and deflate in a raw-text input file. It refers to compression of map output which cans not improve a computing performance than uncompressed. Scenario II, we use a compressed input file with bzip2 with the uncompressed MapReduce that results find a similar execution-time between raw-text and bzip2. It refers to a bzip2 input file can reduce a disk space and keep a computing performance. In concluding, Hadoop compression can investigate the wordcount MapReduce execution-time with a bzip2 input file in Hadoop cluster.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129244539","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed prototype is designed on low-resource and mobility concepts. An e-Learning service is utilized for local self-learning and local staff to instruct contents. Due to the limitations and problems of ICT infrastructure, we design our system to function in two modes which are an offline e-Learning server and a gateway hotspot. Low power consumption and alternative energy sources such as solar cell system, automotive battery, and mobile power bank are utilized concerning the electrical power issue. Ease of use and user-friendly interface are considered in order to suit the characteristic of Thai farmers and non-IT skill users. The system was evaluated by the practical performing. The testing results prove that the system can operate a local e-Learning service to participants up to 15 concurrent connections. Moreover, a local wireless hotspot is automatically activated when LAN cable is connecting to the Internet. Finally, the user satisfaction was evaluated to confirm the proposed solution performance and usability as well.","PeriodicalId":273911,"journal":{"name":"2017 14th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126629696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is inspired by the foraging behavior of ant colony. The ant colony walks along density of pheromone from ant's nest to feeding sources. It leads to create shortest path from ant's nest to feeding sources. ACO is normally troubled with the problems of trapping in local optimum. This paper proposed an improved ACO algorithm by mutation is applied with pheromone of ants when ant colony traps in local optimum.
