It makes some institutions maintain either lodge, hostel, or boarding school, in order to encourage school programs. For instance, MAN Yogyakarta 1 established boarding school ‘Al Hakim’ to increase horizon of students towards scientific references to Islam. The question is, how do implementation of Kemenag curriculum and boarding school curriculm impact to elevate learning outcomes of PAI. This study attempts to determine for applicating two curriculum derived from kemenag and boarding school. This study utilizes qualitative research. The results show that in practice, kemenag curriculum remains a priority rather than boarding school curriculum; impact and achievement in the implementation of two curriculum have positive impact on learning outcomes such as to have better values on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor; excess two curricula are applied properly will create more students mastering the subject matter of religion. However, drawbacks occur discrepancy between the curriculum from kemenag and boarding school because the materials are not delivered properly and allocated short time. This research used mixed method. The students of SKL Quran program are being subject of this study and the lecturers are being informants because they are also the examiner of SKL Quran. This study examines data collection derived from quitioners, intervies, observations, and documentations. It also examines data validity by using triangulation, which means analysis qualitatif using interactive analysis and quantitative using percentile formula. The results show that SKL Quran needs to be evaluated in the context as an important category. The inputs of charateristic form explain that most participants of SKL Quran come from public school education background. Evaluation process also shows that the things of SKL Quran are needed to be improved in the process such as subjectivity examiners that always have been affect to students graduation of SKL Quran. Last, evaluation of the product knowledge of this study is going to graduate 77.42%. It has the characteristics thinking and new philosophical model in the birth history of science and philosophy. The History of science is a basic science that is always marked by the strong paradigm and followed by the scientific revolution and is the starting point in studying fundamental issues in scientific epistemology for Thomas Kuhn. Thomas Kuhn termed this phase as a new science birth history phase, beginning with normal science, then emerged anomaly and crisis, and ended with the scientific revolution as a birth form of new science or new paradigm. Thomas Kuhn's paradigm can be contextualized in the science of education or donated to the world of education. The World of Education needs to design a teaching-learning process that can stimulate or provide anomalous data to learners, so as to transform their knowledge scheme toward a better scheme. Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning became one of the methods of troubleshooting educational problems through experimental ways that make learners become the subject of education. This method is realized in line with has been formulated by Thomas S. Kuhn.
