Mars rovers are one example. These robots, also called rovers, require a self-sufficient energy supply. This article deals with the development of a 20W photovoltaic system that tracks the sun using light sensors. This tracking consists of one rotation axis each for the adjustment of the azimuth and the elevation angle. The collector tracking is driven by a stepper motor with worm gear for each axis. Through the tracking, the generated electrical power can be increased by about 44%. This installed photovoltaic unit can fully charge the accumulator of the rover within 21 hours and 25 minutes at an average solar irradiation of 533W/m2.","PeriodicalId":270469,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"5 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132238042","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The developed approach of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) employs a single commonly available USB2.0 High-Definition camera to capture hand movements and gestures, implementing the OpenCV library. This enables the translation of those movements and gestures into commands that can be transferred using internet protocols to a Raspberry Pi; then interfaces with the robotic arm. Using computer vision as a method of HCI reduces components and overall cost. The Raspberry Pi uses individual commands to control the robotic arm’s servo motors while monitoring multiple pressure sensors and limit switches to ensure the robotic arm operates within a certain limit of load. This prevents the arm from overextending itself while protecting the integrity of items within its grasp.","PeriodicalId":270469,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130538509","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, the cheapest product available on any day and hour may be at a different price one day later. The same product may be priced very differently in one market than in another. Despite the inconsistency and dynamic changes in all these prices, it was planned to collect the data with the crowdsourcing method in order to be able to search for the best price instantly with instant queries. In this developed product, in order to keep up with the dynamism of the data, a software was developed that will enable the data of products to be entered via smart phones with plain text-messages, from anywhere and by anyone, and the data was collected in a document-based NoSQL database. Since the data are unstructured messages, word-based indexing and distributed search architectures Lucene and Elasticsearch, which provide full-text search, were used. Since accessibility is important as well as the most affordable price, various services were integrated into the system with the Google Map API integration.","PeriodicalId":270469,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132455708","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The welfare and economy of both the producer and the consumer need to meet the increasing energy need by making investments and planning with the correct predictions. In this study, the electricity demand forecast is made with the help of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). In order to increase the accuracy, educational data sets were created with historical electricity consumption data, taking into account social, economic, technological, and demographic factors. The forecasting method developed was applied to Düzce, Turkey's developing provinces. The 15-year electrical energy demand of the region was estimated with the ANN-based method. The results have been evaluated in detail.","PeriodicalId":270469,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"567 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115668670","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Decreasing the non-linear refractive index and increasing the linear refractive index division make the transmitted signal closer to unity and also reduce the length of the structure. An all-optical logic gates is proposed using introduced logic gates and the operation is discussed in details. Firstly, the study includes mathematical modeling and simulation of both conventional and hydro-pneumatic suspension systems. The hydro-pneumatic suspension is a non-linear, complex system. The spring and damping characteristics for the system have been separately constructed. The control structure has been chosen to create a multivariate analysis by using the suspension deflection as a reference point to manipulate the active component of the suspension system with Fuzzy Control method. Finally, the study aims to create a better understanding of how the passive conventional, hydro-pneumatic, and active hydro-pneumatic suspension systems differ in means of comfort and vehicle handling issues.","PeriodicalId":270469,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122467384","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, novel methods for code completion are proposed and the performance of these methods on code completion is demonstrated. Deep Learning models are applied over large datasets to achieve code completion in dynamically written programming languages. In this study, an LSTM model that performs next word prediction is trained on the JavaScript programming language. The code completion system consists of two phases. In the first phase, multiple completion suggestions are generated from the LSTM model. In the second phase, these suggestions are checked by the JavaScript Parser and the best results are achieved. This system is an alternative solution where the model can be trained without preprocessing the training set with a Parser. The proposed method has been tested on the test dataset and the success of the code completion is shown in a quantitative way.","PeriodicalId":270469,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121962756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The collaborative filtering technique is capable of providing better predictions when there is enough data. Find out item similarity and user similarity using ratings is an important part of collaborative filtering. These similarities are measured for rating prediction for a better recommendation. There are several algorithms for calculating the similarity. Different similarities are used in previous studies for item-based and user-based recommendations. As there are different similarities used, it is difficult to choose which one is suitable for the desired recommendation. In this work, we present item-based filtering for movie recommendations and apply the most used similarity techniques which are Pearson correlation, Cosine similarity, Spearman Rank correlation. We implement them on the same dataset. Then we have applied these similarity techniques in the same metrics of the dataset for comparing them and choose the similarity techniques that provide better accuracy.","PeriodicalId":270469,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121582981","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This success depends on the realization of the mechanism design that will enable the robot to be controlled much more easily and to create a model that can control itself by minimizing the amount of energy consumed. In this paper, the ideal coupler curve was drawn using the Cinderalla program for the mobile robot with Strandbeest walking mechanism to move on a smooth surface and the link distances that provided this curve were determined. Then, different coupler curves were drawn by making changes in the link distances in order to overcome the set type obstacle. Solid modelling of the robot was done in the SolidWorks program. Simulations were also made in the Algodoo program to overcome the set type obstacle.","PeriodicalId":270469,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114340460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
