The paradigm of data analytic is changed from explicit to implicit raises the way to extract knowledge from data through a prospective approach to determine the value of new observations based on the structure of the relationship between input and output (predictive analytics). In the cycle of predictive analytics, data preparation is a very important stage. The main challenge faced is that raw data cannot be directly used for analysis and related to the quality of the data. Completeness is arising related to data quality. Missing data is one that often causes data to become incomplete. As a result, predictive analytics generated from these data becomes inaccurate. In this paper, the issues related to the missing data in predictive analytics will be discussed through a literature study from related research. The efficiency to respond to users' complaint also depends on an effective workflow. By having an effective method and workflow, the action taken by the management to improve the quality of services and facilities can be done immediately and effectively. One of the ways is by classifying the complaints that will isolate related complaints. This paper presents the implementation of the classification system that combines the application of Complaint Concept Ontologies in Malay language as classifier rules with the BM25 model of Information Retrieval system. Experiments showed the semantic based elements such as Malay ontology may bring the improvement of the classification of the Malay Complaint. The result yielded showed that the proposed classifier produced better result in four category compared to BM25 original score that only produced better result in one category. OBMCS also outperformed the LDA model in all eight categories on the Recall, Precision and F-measure metrics. Many types of speed traps and cameras were installed by the road police departments at some parts of the roads trying to reduce the problem. Many drivers know where those cameras and speed traps are, so they reduce their speed when they are within the coverage of those cameras then, go back up to their previous speed again. This research proposes a system for smart cities or highways to control the problem via the placement of a set of Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET) devices on the roadside and within the vehicles to achieve side to side communication. The provided communication would be responsible for delivering real time information about the car, including its speed, which would help to detect the speeding offenders. By conducting this research, it is expected to identify the factors causing the accidents to happen, warn the speeding drivers at any time about their offence and to ensure a fine will be issued for every offender. To solve this problem, a TOA/INS hybrid location algorithm is proposed by combining the gradient descent algorithm and weighted arithmetic, and the localization range is optimized by improving the ultrasonic sensor. In the system, the blind node carries on the motion sensor to perceives the current motion state, and accumulates the current position of the blind node in each direction of the unit time. At the same time, the ultrasonic signal is transmitted, and the beacon node and the controller are enable to get the current position of the blind node by the signal arrival time difference. To this end, we have developed and operated a system to support the tourism of international students in Japan. The tourism behavior of international students have been not sufficiently studied, however. Therefore, in this study, we at first present an analysis method to analyze international students' tourism behavior using the operational data of the tourism support system and then discuss the process of analysis method from the viewpoint of data acquisition and data visualization. We conducted analysis in three contents: 1. tourism preferences and attribute analysis at the individual level, 2. comparative analysis between a plan and actual tour at the group level, and 3. comparative analysis between the tourism preferences of international students and those of foreign tourists. Based on analysis results, we were able to characterize aspects of international students' tourism behavior, such as the tendencies of visiting places, preference for types of tourism activities, and trends in understanding Japanese language and culture. As future task, we intend to improve the method to raise the accuracy of our analysis in future research. In addition, we perform reliable analytics, i.e., users in the datasets are identical. Deeply speaking, if we have a dataset of n number of user profiles on Facebook, we do not analyze n different profiles on corresponding OSN. However, we first perform a user Profile Matching (PM) task from a seed dataset (Facebook for instance) and then match these profiles inside this dataset to their corresponding profiles on other OSNs, then we start our User Profile Analysis and Discovery task (UPAD). These wireless sensor nodes are with limited computing capability, low bandwidth and limited power. Thus, designing a good routing protocol that ensures minimum energy consumption is getting more important. Variants of low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH) protocol were proposed due to the popularity of LEACH protocol. In this paper, analysis is performed on the fuzzy logic controller that had been used extensively in many fuzzy logic controller based LEACH protocols. We focus mainly on comparing one of the fuzzy logic controller based LEACH protocol with the original LEACH protocol. Experimental results show that the fuzzy logic based LEACH protocol that selects the cluster head by comparing the generated fuzzy output and pre-defined threshold is inferior to the original LEACH protocol in term of the lifespan of the deployed wireless sensor network. For the failure recovery in SDN, most existing research mainly addressed single failure scenario or single flow rerouting. However, considering multi-failure scenario and multi-flows rerouting is closer to the real SDN environment. Since SDN architecture has a communication bottleneck between the controller and switches, flow rule plays an importance role in their communication. Thus, in this paper, we concentrate on minimizing flow rules for rerouting multi-flows when network occurs multiple link failures, named RMFWMF. We first propose a model to metric the communication overhead between controller and switch during flow rerouting. Next, we formulate the problem as a 0-1 nonlinear programming model, show it can be transformed into a 0-1 linear programming and solve the model using decomposition based on Lagrange relaxation. At last, we implement an experiment in a test network. The quality of the type systems used for annotation affects the quality of annotation. To achieve highly accepted sets of annotated documents, the Fleiss' kappa score has been widely used to observe the level of agreement from annotated results, submitted by different human annotators. The challenge is that the kappa score cannot be used to validate the type systems nor to identify any incorrect annotations. Thus, we proposed an application of formal logic for validating type systems and annotations against expert rules. Experiments have been done by using four different type systems and annotation sets created by an expert and three novices. Our proposed formal logic model was used to validate the novice type systems and annotations against the expert rules. The results show that the technique could help identifying inconsistencies between expert and novice annotations, by using a model checker. The number of detected inconsistencies impacts the level of achieved F1 score. Thus, the proposed formal logic technique could be used to guide novice annotators to develop accepted type systems.
