We focus mainly on comparing one of the fuzzy logic controller based LEACH protocol with the original LEACH protocol. Experimental results show that the fuzzy logic based LEACH protocol that selects the cluster head by comparing the generated fuzzy output and pre-defined threshold is inferior to the original LEACH protocol in term of the lifespan of the deployed wireless sensor network.
