The antenna covers the frequency spectra from 6.95 to 16.46 GHz with a fractional bandwidth of 81.24 %. It fulfills the ITU band (7.25-7.75/7.9-8.4 GHz) full X-band (8-12 GHz) and Ku-band downlink-uplink (11.7-12.2/14-14.5 GHz) application bands. Very high port isolation (> 15.5 dB) is obtained over the operating frequency band by using defected ground structure (DGS). The antenna provides very low envelope correlation co-efficient (ECC<0.09) and channel capacity loss (CCL<0.23 bits/s/Hz) whereas very high diversity gain (DG>9.95 dB) is obtained. Total active reflection coefficient (TARC) curve is found using different input excitation phase angles. This also confirms very good impedance behaviour of the antenna. The Vehicle ad-hoc network (VANET) security researchers have shown enormous development on the field. Among all, the intrusion detection system (IDS) is creating the highest attraction. Additionally, a way of multidisciplinary researches has proved the importance of IDS over VANET. In this paper, a trust-based collaborative intrusion detection system (T-BICDS) is proposed. In which, each car maintains a score table of other cars in the network to identify their previous pattern of network behavior. Additionally, the vehicles gather real-time network traffic can analysis based on local IDS agent, which is equipped with k-nearest neighbors kNN nonlinear classifier. Besides, a vehicle can collaborate with other neighboring vehicles and update the score table to identify intruders in real-time as well as use the table for future prediction. In this paper we propose a new technique of transmitting sensed video in reduced format with a newly proposed Block based Fragmented Cosine Transform (BFCT). The scheme works by modifying DCT based operation which is computationally intensive in WMSN. The correlation among the frames of the video is measured followed by applying BFCT over only the sorted frames. As the technique is applied over an array of sensor so a newly designed dedicated routing technique is also employed along with BFCT. This helps in reducing the amount of transmitted data and hence saving communication energy. The performance of the scheme is measured by energy analysis, peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) followed by statistical analysis. This paper has proposed a new mushroom-shaped, 2.4GHz dielectric resonator antenna having higher impedance bandwidth. This new antenna is designed using a material of dielectric constant near to 10 and can achieve a higher impedance bandwidth of about 71% which is, generally 10% in the case of conventional DRA. The hybrid antenna gain (5dB), higher radiation efficiency, wideband width, and voltage standing wave ratio can make it compatible with customized different applications of communications. The proposed antenna is lighter in weight and also cost-effective. For accurate detection and classification of different movements, proper feature selection from EMG signals is necessary, failure of which may often lead to incorrect results. To this end, this article presents an image processing aided deep learning approach for detection and classification of hand movement EMG signals. In this study, EMG signals for both left hand and right hand movements were procured from an existing database. A reference signal for each category was chosen as reference and cross spectrum of the rest of the EMG signals was done with the reference signal. The resultant cross-wavelet spectrum images of both classes of EMG signals were fed to a pre-trained convolution neural network (CNN) for the purpose of detection and classification of hand movements. It has been observed that the proposed method returned an average classification accuracy of 97.6% in segregating different categories of EMG signals. Besides, the performance of the proposed method analyzed using different CNN architectures was also found to be robust. In order to optimize their parameter combination of two-area non-reheat thermal power system is considered along with Fuzzy-PID controller & SMES (Super-conducting Magnetic Energy Storage System). Chemical Reaction Optimization Technique is used. MZIs can be used as basic building blocks in realizing ultra-fast complex Boolean logic based digital optical circuits. EMI and power dissipation problems that arise in high bit rate electronic circuits can easily be avoided in optical switching circuits. In this paper, we use the switching mechanism of MZIs, in designing an optical full adder which generates both sum and carry bits in optical domain, for three given digital electrical signals: A and B input signals and C carry signal. A total of ten MZIs are used, A, B and C act as control signals, are applied to the electrodes of three distinct group of MZIs. Here in ELD problems, the nonlinear characteristics are ramp rate limits prohibited zones and valve point discontinuities taken. This CBBO algorithm is successfully applied in the ELD and tested in two systems, i.e., IEEE-10 units and the other larger system is IEEE-140 units. The tested outcome of this method is potency and effectiveness analyze to other algorithms discussed in this paper.
