Here in ELD problems, the nonlinear characteristics are ramp rate limits prohibited zones and valve point discontinuities taken. This CBBO algorithm is successfully applied in the ELD and tested in two systems, i.e., IEEE-10 units and the other larger system is IEEE-140 units. The tested outcome of this method is potency and effectiveness analyze to other algorithms discussed in this paper. Abstract
