Abstract

The present study aims at the assessment of groundwater in terms of water quality index (WQI) of the Fuljhore area at Durgapur city. Five source points of groundwater samples were collected and nine physicochemical parameters viz, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), Dissolve Oxygen (DO), hardness, turbidity, chloride, fluoride, salinity, pH and electrical conductivity were analyzed.
