The objective of this article is to explore how to skillfully apply the multidimensional classroom model within the framework of the new curriculum reform to significantly enhance the English listening and speaking abilities of high school students. To accomplish this objective, the article employs diverse research methodologies, including literature review, case analysis, and empirical research. Furthermore, it conducts a comprehensive examination of the practical implementation of the multidimensional classroom model in high school English teaching. Furthermore, it investigates how this model effectively promotes students' proficiency in English listening and speaking. The research findings indicate that the multidimensional classroom model, with its abundant teaching resources and highly interactive learning environment, not only significantly improves students' English listening and speaking abilities but also stimulates their learning enthusiasm and classroom participation. Through the study of overseas readers' evaluations and dissemination effects of English translations, we can comprehensively and accurately assess the impact of different translations on readers, provide more scientific guidance and decision-making basis for the translations of classical literature, and promote the dissemination of Chinese literature overseas, thereby contributing to the enhancement of China's cultural soft power. It can provide more scientific guidance and decision-making basis for the translation of classical literature, promote the overseas dissemination of Chinese literature, and boost the enhancement of the soft power of Chinese culture. This study collects readers' evaluations of Martin Palmer's English translation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which is ranked first in the review data on Amazon and the official website of Goodreads, through the Octopus data collector, and conducts text data mining on it, utilizing the KHCoder text analyzing tool and adopting a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, to analyze the readers' reviews of the high-frequency words and semantic mapping were analyzed. It was found that the factors affecting overseas readers' evaluation of the English translation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms include: the length of the full translation, the confusion and difficulty in memorization and phonetic comprehension of Chinese character names due to the names and words in the English translation, and the completeness of the translation in retaining the essence of the original work. Based on postcolonial feminist theory, this paper demonstrates that the oppression and subversion of Annie are closely related with her insane behavior in “A Wilderness Station”. It finds that Annie suffers double oppression, namely, the colonial religious hegemony and the patriarchal domination, showcasing the female predicaments in Canada in the nineteenth century. Although the definition of retranslation in different historical periods is different, more or less having a certain extended meaning reflecting the social and cultural background at that time, but the debates on “ancient and modern”, “accuracy and inaccuracy” and “literary and quality” produced by and around this phenomenon has promoted the further development of translation theories. With the frequent and increasingly diversified cultural exchanges brought about by economic globalization, the concept of “retranslation” has not only been eliminated by the times, but also has a new charm because of its characteristics of “overall problem-based research path” and “moving forward in a controversial pattern” (Gao, 2016a). The psychological and action descriptions of the characters in this novel, to a certain extent, show the psychological characteristics of the character’s id, ego and superego. To find out the gender similarities and differences in the use of stance markers under the classification by Hyland, figure out the gender features and summarize the behind reasons, this article combines the qualitative and quantitative analysis together, conducts a detailed analysis on twenty TED speeches delivered by ten male and ten female lecturers, respectively. Finally, the study finds that firstly, there are no distinctive differences in the use of stance markers in the primary class proposed by Hyland named hedges, boosters, attitude markers and self-mention. But the female lecturers use stance makers more frequently on the whole. Secondly, in terms of secondary class which complemented by other scholars, still no obvious differences are found in terms of hedges and attitude markers. Then, for the use of boosters, the males prefer fact-asserting while the females tend to use certainty-indicating. As for the employment of self-mention markers, words indicating authority such as I are more frequently used by males and those contributing to solidarity between the speaker and audience such as we are more commonly applied by females. The transitivity system identifies the experiential meaning and captures how reality is construed by manifold linguistics choices. Despite the widespread application of Holliday’s transitivity system, academic discourse receives far less attention than it deserves. In response, the study is set to analyze an extracted passage from the academic essay The Feminist Reader and to reveal the author’s underlying ideology of feminism by using the transitivity system as a theoretical framework. Among the six processes outlined in the framework, the study discovers that relational processes highly dominate writing, distantly followed by material, while verbal and mental processes respectively come third. Moreover, it is the genre and register of academic writing and the author’s writing intentions that contribute to different proportions of processes.
