In the retail sector, e-commerce played a fundamental role and promoted major changes in the consumer pattern. This evolution and its impact can be studied through the digital transformation lens, which is a multidisciplinary and holistic concept that encompasses a new strategy and new ways of strategizing. The present study aims to describe the digital transformation strategy implementation path at a Brazilian pre-digital retail company and discusses the role the COVID-19 pandemic had played. Moreover, the case highlights important strategic issues and provides the opportunity to analyze whether it is a strategic process or a strategic practice. Thus, it can enlighten which theory best supports DTS studies. This study also increases the understanding of the strategic configuration of digital transformation embracing context, process, and outcomes. However, the constant change of markets has led many companies to carry on repositioning strategies to deliberately change their strategic positioning, namely by widening its product or service benefits to attract a wider market audience. As product or service positioning is always defined by the consumer, there is the need to understand the extent to which each company is able to communicate its new intended positioning and actually make it perceived. This chapter presents the case of Pedras, a Portuguese brand of naturally sparkling water which ramped up its communication efforts regarding the extension of its product's benefits in order to minimize the potential gap between intended and perceived positioning. The purpose of this chapter is to extend that research by analyzing the relationship between Porter's competitive strategies and Burns and Stalker's structure types. The authors conduct their research on the enterprises in Technology Development Zones in Istanbul, Turkey. One hundred sixty of 5,506 enterprises participated in the research. Then, to search deeper, the authors conducted a qualitative research on the 25 enterprises in Technology Development Zones. Results show that, while the mechanical structure tendency is observed in the enterprises following the cost leadership strategy, the mechanical or organic structure tendency is not observed in the enterprises following the differentiation and focus strategies. In this context, purpose-driven marketing is a marketing perspective and trend that aims to connect brands with their consumers through their brand purpose. The implications of all these in the field of marketing have begun to be seen in Turkey, too. In particular, brands in the dishwashing detergent market have entered a purpose-driven marketing war with each other, so to speak. Finish, Fairy, and Pril have made purpose-driven marketing campaigns in Turkey. Unfortunately, some businesses underestimate the potential dormant in different types of live analytics and performance trackers and being unaware of the analysis capacity to be performed on competitors and market leaders completely off cost. THEIA repositioning was studied according to a specific methodology, combining analysis techniques to assess organizations' internal capacity and the exploration of external conditioning factors. The case has a close theoretical association with the famous strategic management models, for instance Michael E. Porter's model, Ansoff Matrix, Blue Ocean Strategy, Balanced Scorecard, and Resource-Based View and explains how an organization can strategically grow its business through digital value-based innovation. Contending sources of data, for example print and electronic media, have been utilized to accumulate and report raw facts and figures. The authors analyzed based on insights gained from various academicians from different universities across India, some mid-level managers from industry, and some unofficial conversations with A2B staff in Bangalore.
