The share of regional pain management methods is steadily increasing. However, at the same time, the list of requirements that local anesthetics must meet is also growing. According to them, the drug that combines high anesthetic activity and minimal toxicity should be considered the best. The local anesthetic anilocaine hydrochloride, developed according to the author's method in PGFA, exhibits high surface anesthetic activity with relatively low toxicity, and also has anti-inflammatory and moderate antimicrobial activity, which distinguishes it very favorably from the local anesthetics used and is an alternative to the use of expensive imported drugs. The purpose of this study is to develop the composition and technology of anesthetic eye drops. Materials and methods. The pharmaceutical substance anilocaine hydrochloride was used as a pharmacologically active component. The determination of the hydrogen index was carried out by the potentiometric method in accordance with the requirements of the OFS \"Ionometry\". To study the stability of eye drops, characterized by the indicator \"Related impurities\", a high-pressure liquid chromatograph \"ShimadzuLCProminence\" (Japan) was used. Statistical processing of the results of chemical studies was carried out according to generally accepted methods using standard EXCEL computer programs. Results and discussion. As a result of the conducted research, the composition of anesthetic eye drops based on anilocaine hydrochloride has been substantiated and developed. A technology for manufacturing eye drops has been developed to ensure the sterility of the resulting form. Conclusion. Based on technological and microbiological studies, the composition and technology of locally anesthetic eye drops based on anilocaine hydrochloride for surface (drip) anesthesia of the eyeball has been developed.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":" 34","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140990134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Protrusion of the intervertebral disc beyond the cross-section of the vertebra can lead to severe pain (even disability) due to mechanical compression of the nerve root and, with extrusion of the nucleus pulposus, inflammatory reactions. Thus, to date, pain syndrome that has developed as a result of a hernia occurs in 9% of the world's population. Thus, the treatment of intervertebral hernias is one of the pressing problems of the modern world. Radical treatment - surgical, is associated with a number of complications and does not always lead to the desired results. For this reason, surgical treatment should be carried out only if conservative methods are ineffective, among which physiotherapy occupies a special place.\u0000The purpose of this work is a literary analysis of physiotherapy methods currently used for the treatment of herniated intervertebral discs and to determine their place in the complex therapy of this pathology.\u0000The review examines the nature of intervertebral hernias, some of the physiological reactions they cause, in particular, the mechanisms of pain syndrome formation are indicated. We also described in detail the main methods of physiotherapy currently used for herniated intervertebral discs, such as electrophoresis, balneological procedures, spinal traction; the mechanisms of their influence on the damaged intervertebral disc are indicated, allowing to eliminate or reduce the intensity of the pain syndrome; The need for an integrated approach in the treatment of the pathology under study was determined.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":" 30","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140993662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Materials and Methods. Between 2015 and 2023 inclusive, 72 patients with anterior cruciate ligament injury accompanied by osteochondral defects of femoral condyles were treated. All patients were randomly divided into three groups: the first group - simultaneous ACL reconstruction and abrasive chondroplasty (ACh-ACL group) (n=24); the second group - ACL reconstruction and microfracturing (MF-ACL group) (n=24); the third group - ACL reconstruction and mosaic autochondroplasty (OAT-ACL group) (n=24). For the purpose of independent evaluation, a control group - anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with intact articular cartilage (IAC-ACL group) (n=24) was introduced for comparison. Results and Discussion. Having analyzed the results of IKDC-2000 and Lysholm + Tegner questionnaires at 3, 6 and 12 months after the operation we noted the greatest positive dynamics in the early postoperative period (3 months) in all groups. From 6 to 12 months the dynamics changed its tendency and more pronouncedly passed into a \"plateau\" in groups 1 and 2, which was clinically determined by the restoration of passive movements with insufficient volume of active flexion-extension movements in the knee joint, as well as by the persistence of pain syndrome during loading. Conclusions. Simultaneous reconstruction of osteochondral lesions of the articular surface of the knee joint and reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament is the basis for full restoration of the function and bearing capacity of the knee joint. In this case, the use of organ-reconstructive methods of surgical intervention (bone-cartilage autochondroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (OAT-ACL)) allows achieving better clinical results compared to \"mesenchymal stimulation\" of the defect area, showing full functional recovery of the knee joint.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":" 75","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140991240","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, the main role in resolving this issue belongs to retail pharmacy organizations, ensuring the availability of medicines and other pharmaceutical products for consumers. However, along with the need to provide timely and high-quality pharmaceutical services, retail pharmacy organizations are currently faced with a number of serious economic problems, among which the most pressing is the search for ways to increase competitiveness. As practice shows, one of the ways to solve this problem is to expand the functionality and range of pharmacy organizations, which, in particular, implies the creation of new and/or development of departments within them. One of the promising departments of a modern pharmacy organization is the orthopedic department. The market for orthopedic products has a noticeable and steady upward trend; the number of actual and potential consumers of these products, as well as the volume of their sales, increases every year. Orthopedic products for people with diseases of the musculoskeletal system are in particular demand, and demand is also growing among the group of consumers purchasing these products for sports and for the purpose of disease prevention. At the same time, an important issue is the organization of rational placement and comprehensive information to potential consumers about the properties, advantages and necessity of such goods. Integrated sales of medicines, other pharmaceutical products and orthopedic products can create an additional competitive advantage for a pharmacy organization in comparison with others and improve the economic and financial performance of the retail chain. The purpose of this study was to study the influence of orthopedic products on the turnover indicators of a pharmacy organization and to study the approaches used in practice for their placement in the sales area of a pharmacy.\u0000As a result of the research, comparative data on the influence of orthopedic products on the turnover indicators of a pharmacy organization were obtained and the approaches used in practice to their placement in the sales area of pharmacy organizations were studied. It has been established that orthopedic products occupy a significant portion of sales in the total turnover of pharmacy organizations. At the same time, the best economic indicators in this regard were demonstrated by a pharmacy that has a separate orthopedic department, which allows us to consider it expedient to create specialized units in this area in a pharmacy organization.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":" 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140992025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of these diseases manifests itself in the form of a wedge-shaped defect in dental tissue. It is a lesion of tooth enamel of non-carious origin in the cervical area. This disease is easy to detect during the initial examination, since the tooth defect is wedge-shaped [1]. It is important to note that the pathology can have varying degrees of severity, from small depressions to more serious damage. The defect got its name due to the wedge-shaped shape of the lesion. Most often, a wedge-shaped defect appears in premolars or canines. It can affect both the upper and lower sides of the jaw. Research shows that the number of patients with this pathology is increasing every year. According to some authors, the prevalence of wedge-shaped dental defects among the population of the Russian Federation is up to 34% [4]. Many scientists attribute this to improper use of hygiene products and excessive consumption of acidic foods. Recent studies also indicate a connection between the development of wedge-shaped defects and dental overload caused by psycho-emotional tension and stress [3, 5]. This lesion not only affects the aesthetic appearance of the smile, but can also cause increased tooth sensitivity [2]. Scientists have not yet reached a consensus on treatment methods, but in many cases the disease can be prevented using simple preventative methods.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":" 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140993185","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For their treatment and prevention, herbal remedies that have the properties of a complex effect on the causes and nature of the development of the inflammatory process are quite often and quite reasonably used. Jujube leaves seem to be a promising source of biologically active substances (BAS) for inclusion in anti-inflammatory drugs for the oral cavity due to their significant content of flavonoids, phenolcarboxylic acids, triterpene compounds and other groups of BAS, which individually and in combination determine the target activity. In addition, according to the literature, compounds that cause an anesthetic effect in the oral cavity were found in the leaves of jujube. Free radical oxidation and subsequent disruption of the integrity of cell membranes play a significant role in the pathogenesis of oral diseases. In this regard, a promising direction in the comprehensive prevention and treatment of oral diseases is the use of antioxidant drugs, among which ethyl methylhydroxypyridine succinate (EMHPS) is quite popular in this regard. EMGPS inhibits the oxidation of biological membranes, increases the activity of antioxidant enzymes, and also participates in the regulation of metabolic activity of cells. It seemed appropriate to develop a composition and evaluate the quality of an oral product based on a complex of biologically active substances from jujube leaves and EMGPS with a predicted complex anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect.\u0000Determination of commodity indicators of jujube leaves, dry residue, alcohol content in the alcohol extract and pH of the oral product was carried out using pharmacopoeial methods. pH was measured using a Mettler Toledo pH meter. An alcoholic extract from jujube leaves in the form of a tincture was obtained by fractional maceration using 40% ethyl alcohol, which selectively extracts flavonoids from this raw material. The quantitative content of flavonoids was determined by differential spectrophotometry using a Shimadzu UV-1800 spectrophotometer. Quantitative analysis of EMGPS was carried out titrimetrically using the non-aqueous titration method. It has been established that the developed oral product containing tincture of jujube leaves and EMGPS is characterized by satisfactory quality indicators.
