The data confirming the presence of phenolic substances in the raw materials (coffee, cinnamon, m-coumaric, p-coumaric, ferulic, 4-hydroxybenzoic, salicylic, synaptic, syringic, vanilla and gallic acids) and flavonoid components (apigenin, isoquercitrin, luteolin, quercetin, quercitrin and rutin) were obtained. In the Russian Federation there is a significant stock of both wild and cultivated apple species, among which the domestic apple tree (Malus domestica Borkh.) and the berry apple tree (Malus baccata (L.) Borkh) are of scientific interest. Taking into account the lack of scientific information aimed at standardization of new raw materials, the authors analyzed the external and microscopic signs of apple and berry flowers dried by isothermal drying, as well as frozen. The analysis of external signs was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the OFS.1.5.1.0004.15 Flowers, microdiagnostic analysis was performed according to OFS.1.5.3.0003.15 Technique of microscopic and microchemical research of medicinal plant raw materials and medicinal plant preparations. Morphological features related to the size of flowers and the structure of sepals were revealed during microdiagnostic examination, diagnostic signs common to both species were revealed, as well as specific for each specific species. The general ones include the tortuosity of the epidermis, the type of stomatal apparatus, the presence of essential oil glands, as well as numerous sinuous simple hairs. Also common features are a significant number of calcium oxalate inclusions represented by druses and prismatic crystals. A specific feature of the berry apple tree is the presence of glands on multicellular legs along the edge of the stipule. However, the number of phytopreparations based on this plant raw material in the domestic pharmaceutical market is not so diverse. Taking into account the growing popularity of the medicinal form of syrups, the authors conducted a study aimed at developing the composition and technology for producing syrups with rhizomes and roots of Sanguisorba (Sanguisorbae officinalis rhizomata et radices), rhizomes of Potentilla (Potentillae erectae rhizomata), leaves of wild strawberries (Fragariae vescae folia), fruits of aronia (dry) (Aroniae melanocarpae sicco fructus), rowan fruits (Sorbi aucupariae fructus), rosehip fruits (Rosae fructus), cherry fruits (Padi avii fructus). Syrups were obtained using a technology using liquid extracts in the composition, which were obtained in accordance with the requirements of the OFS.1.4.1.0021.15 Extracts. For all the syrups obtained, quality indicators were determined: density, pH, refractive index, microbiological frequency. To determine the quantitative content of biologically active substances in the developed syrups, the authors used the principle of end-to-end standardization, involving the use of the same quality control methods used in the standardization of the initial medicinal plant raw materials. The total content of tannins was determined for syrups with rhizomes and roots of medicinal hemophlebus, rhizomes of lapchatka, cherry fruits, the total content of anthocyanins was determined for the syrup of aronia fruits, the total content of anthocyanins was determined for the syrups of rowan and rosehip fruits, the content of ascorbic acid was determined and for strawberry leaf syrup the total content of flavonoids in terms of rutin. According to the results of the conducted studies, the norms of the content of active substances in the studied forms were recommended.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139207828","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They can be excellent diagnostic tools, have therapeutic properties important for the treatment of patients. Nanomaterials in the composition of drugs are widely used as carriers of poorly soluble drugs to increase both bioavailability and delivery. They enhance their therapeutic effect, reduce the harmful side effects associated with toxicity. The growing role of nanocomponent drugs leads to the fact that the quality assessment of such dosage forms should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the state pharmacopoeia. Compliance with the requirements guarantees the quality and safety of the product. As materials and research methods were used UV spectrophotometer SF-2000, levitation melting using an induction furnace, dosage form components: active substance dioxomethyltetrahydropyrimidine, vaseline, lanolin. Quantitative determination of the components of the developed ointment with nanoparticles, carried out by UV spectrophotometry, showed that the content of the active substance dioxomethyltetrahydropyrimidine in the dosage form corresponded to the standard. The use of the validation process allows us to conclude that this ointment meets the standards and can be used for preclinical studies in order to identify the possibility of its use for the treatment of photodermatitis, ulcers, bedsores.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139198277","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Koch) is widespread in the Russian Federation, but is currently not an official medicinal plant. Lovage leaves are a promising medicinal plant material containing a wide range of biologically active substances (BAS), represented by essential oils, coumarins, tannins, flavonoids and their glycosidated derivatives, phenolcarboxylic acids, polysaccharides. Combining the entire spectrum of biologically active substances in a complex extraction from raw materials is possible using the innovative \"cascade\" method of phased extraction with the sequential use of extractants represented by ethyl alcohol of various concentrations and distilled water. The \"cascade\" method makes it possible to achieve a significant increase in the yield of extractives in comparison with the monoextraction of raw materials with various extractants, carried out according to the pharmacopoeial method. The maximum yield is achieved when using raw materials dried in isothermal mode at a temperature of 35 C. For air-shadow drying raw materials, the yields of extractives are 42% higher than when using a single extraction with 95% ethyl alcohol, and 52% higher than when extracting water.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":"32 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139207665","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We are the first to analyze in-depth comprehensive studies of rural residents of Western Yakutia. The entire adult population of two villages was invited to the survey, from which those who completely filled out the questionnaire were selected for the study. The search criteria were previously diagnosed cholelithiasis and ultrasound data of the abdominal organs. Gallstone disease is generally asymptomatic. Persons with cholelithiasis are significantly more likely to have poor tolerance to fatty and fried foods. The appearance of pain in the epigastric region, in the right hypochondrium in persons with cholelithiasis was noted after an error in food, consumption of fatty, fried and spicy foods. People after cholecystectomy tolerate fatty foods better, but more often report pain in the left hypochondrium and girdle pain compared to the general population, which may be associated with the development of biliary pancreatitis, due to the close anatomical and physiological connection with the pancreas. Painful and dyspeptic symptoms were reliably often noted by persons after cholecystectomy. The severity of pain and dyspeptic complaints in people after cholecystectomy is probably associated with a violation of the usual diet with limited fat and simple carbohydrates after surgical treatment. People with cholelithiasis significantly more often than the general population experience stool disorders in the form of diarrhea and constipation. Some risk factors for cholelithiasis in rural residents are modifiable, which requires preventive and therapeutic measures among the population.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":"361 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139205095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research materials. The size of the real sample was 502 respondents of working age. The average age of respondents of working age in the general sample was 39.7 years. The sexual structure was somewhat dominated by women – 52 %, the proportion of men was 48 %, which corresponded to the general population. The subjective assessment of housing conditions (living conditions), as an independent feature, was carried out by the respondent himself on a 10-point scale. Based on the obtained parameters, 173 people were included in the main group, who estimated their living conditions in the range of 0–5 points. The control group included 329 people who rated their living conditions by 6 or more points. Taking into account the nonparametric nature of the data, a nonparametric analogue of the correlation coefficient, the association coefficient, was used, and in comparison, the criterion for the reliability of differences was used. The incidence of chronic diseases was assessed by the fact of their presence, the incidence of acute diseases – by the average number of acute diseases per year (the year preceding the study was estimated). Results. Subjective assessment of housing conditions can be considered as an economic determinant of health. It is optimal to use the value of 5 points as the critical value of the division into subgroups. With an assessment above 5 points, the self-assessment of health is higher (3.56 ± 0.05 vs. 3.34 ± 0.07 points), the level of chronic (42 vs. 62 out of 100 respondents) and acute (1.19 vs. 1.36 diseases per year) morbidity is lower, the proportion of frequently ill (more than 3 diseases per year) is lower (8.5 % vs. 15.6 %), the frequency of requests for medical care provided in outpatient settings is lower (2.56 ± 0.03 vs. 3.03 ± 0.05 cases per year) and in inpatient settings (1.09 ± 0.05 vs. 1.28 ± 0.05 hospitalizations per year), the proportion of those who frequently seek medical care (5 or more requests per year), provided on an outpatient basis (14.9 % vs. 21.9 %). There were no significant differences in the volume of emergency medical care in demand, depending on the value of the subjective assessment of living conditions.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":" 43","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139207100","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The probability of a favorable outcome after the treatment is quite high, which in turn is supported by the long-term results obtained after using various approaches in the rehabilitation of patients with a reduced volume of jaw bone tissue. Of course, the rehabilitation of such patients is difficult not only in terms of surgical preparation, but also in terms of orthopedic benefits, which impose restrictions on the capabilities of the patient's chewing and speech apparatus. In turn, the patient is faced with the task of maintaining as long as possible the result that the doctor originally sought, namely, using various methods of bone grafting, to create the necessary amount of bone tissue for the installation of implants, which are later used for orthopedic constructions, largely replenishing the functional characteristics. previously lost dentition. There are many studies that are devoted to modern methods of rehabilitation of patients with reduced alveolar processes of the jaws, however, only a small part affects the observation of delayed results of treatment of patients using bone grafting methods in combination with dental implantation. One of the advantages of this study is the ability to follow in dynamics what happens to these patients over a time period of up to 10 years, how strong the adaptive capabilities of the body are after major surgical interventions, what patient management tactics turned out to be the most effective. The assessment of the quality of life of such patients makes it possible to fully determine the feasibility of the operations and techniques to restore the function of the masticatory-speech apparatus. The duration of the positive result obtained directly depends on the further interaction between the doctor and the patient. The key point is the dispensary observation of the patient, as a result of which the doctor gains clinical experience, and therefore the ability to predict further complications with one or another approach to the rehabilitation of patients in this category. On the other hand, for an objective assessment of the treatment performed, it is necessary to determine a common denominator that reflects the quality of life of our patients, therefore, the article presents the results of chewing assessment, as a fundamental criterion for the quality of life for most of these patients, using the SF-36 questionnaire, which is a kind of translator between subjective feelings of the patient and an objective assessment of the doctor.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":"58 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139208785","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The buds and leaves of silver birch are used in the Russian Federation as a diuretic. Standardization of raw materials birch leaves is carried out in accordance with the requirements of FS .2.5.0005.15 “Birch leaves”, assessment of the quality of birch buds is carried out in accordance with FS 2.5.0006.15 “Birch buds”. To improve methods for quality control of birch buds and leaves, the authors proposed analyzing raw materials for the presence of a group of triterpene saponins. The study was carried out using raw materials - leaves and buds of silver birch, which were harvested from wild plants in environmentally safe areas of the Moscow region. The collection of raw materials was carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the relevant pharmacopoeial articles, as well as the “Instructions for collecting and drying birch buds.” Drying of silver birch leaves and buds was carried out using the air-shadow method. The dried raw materials were ground in an Ika analytical mill (Germany). Qualitative analysis was carried out with aqueous extracts from the analyzed raw materials using pharmacopoeial reagents used for the detection of saponins. The presence of triterpene saponins was established using qualitative reactions (foaming, with a solution of lead acetate, an alcohol solution of cholesterol, the Lafon reaction) in the leaves and buds of silver birch (Betula pendula Roth). The quantitative content of the amount of triterpene saponins in the studied raw materials in terms of oleanolic acid (CO Oleanolic acid analytical standard, AK Scientific, USA) was assessed by direct spectrophotometry on a Specord device at a wavelength of 310 nm. At the sample preparation stage, exhaustive extraction of the raw material was carried out with 70% ethyl alcohol. For the subsequent determination of aglycones of triterpene saponins, sample preparation included the stage of hydrolysis in a hydrolytic mixture obtained by mixing glacial acetic acid, concentrated hydrochloric acid (35-38%), distilled water in a volume ratio of 3.5: 1: 5.5, followed by heating in for 2.5 hours. At the moment, there is an increase in the incidence of malignant neoplasms in the Russian Federation. The Arkhangelsk region is no exception in this case. A significant proportion of all malignant diseases are neoplasms of the gastrointestinal tract, among which a group associated with the colonorectal complex is identified. The aim is to establish the features of the spread of malignant neoplasms of the colon and rectum in the population of the Arkhangelsk region over the past decade. Materials and methods. The analysis was carried out on the basis of information materials of the Federal Cancer Register, as well as the P.A. Herzen Moscow Research Oncological Institute of Radiology. The main indicators of the incidence of colon and rectal cancer in the Arkhangelsk region from 2011 to 2021 (per 100,000 population) were studied. To assess the general and annual trend, its degree of reliability, a trend line is constructed and the value of the approximation coefficient R2 is calculated, which in all cases turned out to be acceptable. The results of the study. During the entire period of study, the population of the Arkhangelsk region (except for 2020) showed an increase in the oncological incidence of the colonorectal department. Regional morbidity and mortality rates differed markedly from the national average in a big way throughout the observation. Morbidity and mortality among men is significantly higher than among women. With the introduction and implementation of the regional program \"Fight against oncological diseases\", a noticeable increase in the detection of cancer in the early stages of development has been noted, which, of course, increases the effectiveness of measures for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients. The conclusion was made about the need for further implementation of this program, its continuous improvement and exchange of experience with other regions.","PeriodicalId":263577,"journal":{"name":"\"Medical & pharmaceutical journal \"Pulse\"","volume":"34 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139197056","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
