The Pyramid Optical Flow Net (POFN) was used to estimate the motion of moving vehicles, and the optical flow map containing the movement information of vehicles was obtained. The action refined net was designed to identify the optical flow map and estimate the more accurate position of vehicles. The motion information of the vehicle was correlated with the Intersection over Union (IOU), and the cosine similarity algorithm was used to verify the correlation of the appearance information of the vehicle boundary frame after the correlation of the motion information, so as to complete the vehicle tracking. The test results of UA-DETRAC data set show that the number of track ID switching of POFN model is less than that of current advanced tracking methods.","PeriodicalId":262799,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th World Symposium on Software Engineering","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129821858","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the field of traffic surveillance videos, target vehicles only occupy small proportion of the video frame,making it difficult for the network to extract key features of small target vehicles. To solve this problem, this paper constructed vehicle-3C, a video dataset for vehicle behavior recognition, and was combined with deep learning theory. As a result, it proposed a vehicle behavior recognition method based on the theory of Two-Stream with Attention Network (TSAN). For this method, the two-stream convolutional network is used as a basic framework and attention units are embedded in it to extract temporal (motion) features and spatial features of target vehicles in traffic surveillance videos, and then the temporal and spatial features are fused for category judgment. The results showed that TSAN could achieve 81.8% identification accuracy in vehicle-3C dataset, which was better than other behavior recognition methods based on deep learning. In addition, TSAN also achieves a recognition accuracy of 77.2% in dataset UCF-101, which verifies the generalization performance of the network. Experimental results showed that TSAN could accurately extract and effectively fuse the temporal and spatial features of the foreground target vehicle in the video and achieve high recognition accuracy in the vehicle behavior recognition task.","PeriodicalId":262799,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th World Symposium on Software Engineering","volume":"14 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116430543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this study is twofold. First, to review and evaluate selected web-based integrated development environments (Web IDEs) that can be used to support teaching and learning of programming concepts. Second, to get insight into students' views and experience towards the web-based integrated development environments compared to computer laboratory. Students' understanding of basic programming concepts is part of any computer science and information technology academic program. However, research shows that it is not always easy for students to learn about these concepts, and that is reflected in the high drop rate among students in these subjects. Computer laboratory is an integral part for introductory courses on programming concepts to help students practice what they have learnt. The study is descriptive and exploratory in its nature, and was conducted in two stages. First, a review of some selected web integrated development environments was performed using a rubric for evaluating e-learning tools. Second, the study explored students' views and experience with the web-based integrated development environment using a questionnaire and a focus group. The study demonstrated that students had positive views and experience towards the web-based integrated development environments implying that these tools have the potential to overcome the limitations inherited in computer laboratory. The study suggested some improvements to the web-based integrated development environments to be more educationally effective.","PeriodicalId":262799,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th World Symposium on Software Engineering","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126127965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
