Its features and nonpositional structure of calculations made it an effective tool for solving a number of resource-consuming tasks, such as digital signal processing, cryptography and so on. An important RNS feature is the ability to parallelize operations, that makes it effective when implemented in FPGA. However, positional calculations in RNS are difficult. An important task is to choose an algorithm to compute positional characteristics of numbers in RNS that would work quickly and require little resources. This paper proposes a method of calculating the approximate positional characteristics in order to compare and restore the positional notation of the numbers in RNS. Kornilov","doi":"10.1109/EICONRUSNW.2016.7448226","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/EICONRUSNW.2016.7448226","url":null,"abstract":"The article describes advanced algorithms of the space-vector pulse-width modulation of a three-level NPC-inverter which enable to reduce the number of switching and replace bipolar control pulses with unipolar pulses. Selection of the number of switching is subject to optimization. On the one hand, this value qualifies output voltage - it approximates this wave to a sinusoid, on the other hand, it is limited by a maximum allowable switching number of the inverter. The authors propose that one of the small-vector polarities should be excluded from elementary cycle patterns to minimize switching frequency of high-voltage switches, provided that the symmetry of vectors is maintained over the PWM period. The Matlab Simulink-based structure modeling has been applied to carry out the study. The study results show that the proposed PWM switching algorithms shift significant voltage harmonics into a high-frequency region and, therefore, facilitate enhancement of the inverter current harmonic content. To assess the regulation efficiency, in addition to the conventionally measured baroreflex sensitivity BRS, we also studied the stochastic phase synchronization coefficient Sync between short-term variations of the blood pressure and the heart rate estimated by Hilbert transform. We observed either negative or insignificant correlations between BRS and Sync in healthy subjects as well as in patients with moderate autonomic disorders. We attribute this effect to the partial compensation of the reduced BRS by a more frequent activation of the feedback mechanism indicated by a higher Sync value. The created electromagnetic radiation has an impact on the human body as well as on the electric equipment, such as instrument transformers and power line communication system. A methodology for EMF estimation of neighboring transmission lines was developed. Such parameters as mutual disposition of lines and their wires, the amplitude of the flowing currents and their phase lags were considered. The example of neighboring TLs is examined. Estimation of induced EMF is made. The normal and failure operational modes are considered.
