It is in terms of increasing the load-carrying capacity of the ground, reducing settlement, especially the difference in settlement between the footings, resisting earthquake loads, fast construction, friendly environment, and low construction cost. To date, most of the research has mainly focused on field and laboratory experimental studies. These studies require large costs, and take a long time. In addition, most practical experiments only determine the displacement field, while the stress field is difficult to determine precisely. Therefore, in this study, a finite element analysis (FEA) is proposed based on verification with the experimental results of previous studies. Consequently, the accuracy and reliability of the FEA can be assessed. Through the FEA procedure, it is possible to predict the stress field with high reliability, which can be applied in practice, bringing economic efficiency, especially suitable for current conditions in Vietnam.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116606099","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The degradation of CLO was not due to direct electron oxidation, but was mainly due to •OH and other radicals generated from supporting electrolytes. The degradation of CLO was significantly inhibited when increasing the concentration of nitrobenzene (NB), methanol (MeOH) and benzoic acid (BA). The second-order rate constant of •OH toward CLO was determined to be 3.23×109 M-1 s-1 using competition kinetics method. When SO42- and Cl- were used as supporting electrolytes, the degradation of CLO by •OH was the same with kCLO = 0.0084 min-1. Meanwhile, the higher removal of CLO in SO42--supporting electrolyte was due to the contribution of (SO4•-/S2O82-) more than that of (Cl•/HClO/ClO-).","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116781647","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main function of this system is to determine the direction of arrival (DOA) of an incident radio wave. DOA information plays an important role in array signal processing and has many applications in communications, radar, seismic survey... In this paper, with the simulated signal data set obtained at the linear antenna array (ULA), the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network model is used to estimate the DOA. The performance of the method is evaluated based on the RMSE parameter and compared with MUSIC, DNN algorithms in different cases such as: deviation of incident angle of radiation sources, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125463297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Furthermore, the proposed model also takes into account the uncertainty of load forecast based on a set of multiple scenarios in order to assess its impact on the maximum net revenue of the power distribution company. This bi-level optimization model is transformed into the single-level mixed-integer linear programming model by using the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker optimality conditions and strong duality theorem. This single-level optimization formulation can be effectively solved by using standard commercial solvers such as CPLEX. The proposed model and the effects of the load forecast uncertainty on the net revenue of the power distribution company are validated and analyzed on an IEEE 24-bus meshed transmission grid.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115328392","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The focus of this study is on eight East and Southeast Asian countries, where there have been significant changes regarding corporate governance structures and practices following the 1997-1998 Asian financial crisis. The results suggest that the likelihood that a completed deal is a cross-border acquisition rather than a domestic acquisition is higher for target countries with lower government quality, weaker investor protection, stronger restrictions on capital mobility, lower corporate tax rates, and more depreciated currencies. Further, the study documents that target firm shareholders experience positive and significant abnormal returns in both cross-border and domestic acquisitions around the announcement date; but cross-border target firms gain significantly higher returns than domestic target firms.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115412778","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It should be prominent in use from these fuzzy logic structures the PI-like Mamdani and Sugeno – based inference models have been widely used in academic studies. This paper focuses on creating a theoretical analysis and comparison for both of them. A typical case study regarding the speed control of a hydropower plant against various load changes is taken into consideration in order to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed control strategy. This is considered to be one of the most crucial control strategies for operation and stability of a hydropower plant. In particular, the recent TransUnet inspired from transformers’ strong ability in modeling long-range context, is employed and adapted for the nuclei segmentation. For training the neural network, we propose a new loss inspired from active contour models with the guide of local image fitting. The loss when applied for the TransUnet has shown promising results over common Dice and Binary Cross Entropy loss functions. Our approach has been validated on the Data Science Bowl 2018 dataset, which includes 670 data folders for training model and 65 data folders for testing. State of the art models, such as FCN, SegNet, Unet, and DoubleU-Net are also conducted and evaluated. Quantitative assessments with high Dice similarity coefficient and Intersection over Union metrics demonstrate the performances of the proposed approach for nuclei segmentation.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124473834","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this research, the ARNNs controller has combined the advantages of Radial Basis Function neural network (RBFNN), the robust term, and adaptive backstepping control technique without the requirement of prior knowledge. The RBFNN is used in order to approximate the unknown function to deal with external disturbances and uncertain nonlinearities. In addition, the disturbance of system is compensated by the robust Sliding Mode Control (SMC). All the parameters of ARNNs are determined by the Lyapunov stability theorem, are tuned online by an adaptive training law. Therefore, the stability, robustness, and desired tracking of the performance of ARNNs for IRMs are guaranteed.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123201460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
