As a result, several methods were proposed to address the problem of face mask detection and/or face recognition. While these methods showed promising results, they often require high computational resource due to sophisticated deep learning models. In this paper, we will propose lightweight methods to detect face masks and recognize human faces simultaneously. Our proposed methods are based mainly on Random Forest and MobileNetV2, and are trained and tested with our own dataset collected from Vietnamese faces. The experiment shows that Random Forest can address face mask detection and face recognition with high accuracy. Moreover, a combination of Random Forest and MobileNetV2 can still improve the performance of detection and recognition while keeping the method at relatively low computational complexity.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128941916","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using a sample of non-financial quoted firms over the 13-year period from 2005 to 2017; We document a strong positive correlation between corporate investments and cash flows. Importantly, our results indicate that firms suffering lower level of financial constraints appear to experience stronger investment to cash flow sensitivity and vice versa. This finding provides new evidence to re-examine the existing controversy on the use of investment & cash flow co-movement as a measurement of corporate financing constraints.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"48 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123409972","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specifically, five CNN models, including ResNet18, SqueezeNet, GoogleNet, MobileNet, and RepVGG, are taken into account for a accuracy competition to discover the best one. As a result, the SqueezeNet model achieves the highest accuracy of 97.5% for the SNR value of +8~dB. Based on the evaluation results of the single models, we propose an ensemble learning approach, which integrate some robust networks to improve classification accuracy. The numerical results show that ensemble learning can improve the automatic modulation classification accuracy compared to those single models. Specifically, the ensemble learning model gains the accuracy of 52.7% at the SNR of -20 dB and 77% at the SNR of -2 dB. In addition, three types of ensemble methods are considered for analysis and comparison. Consequently, the weighted ensemble provides a better performance in terms of accuracy than unweighted one.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123001644","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This loss allocation technique is based on the contribution of individual demands to the branch power loss of power grids. Results of power flow analysis, precise power system modelling and superposition theorem are deployed in this proposed method. The advantage of the method described in the paper is that it is accurate and ensures fairness among network users. In addition, this allocation method is simple and can be effectively exploited to both meshed and radial electrical networks. A six-node meshed transmission system and an IEEE 33-bus radial distribution grid are utilized to implement power loss allocation based on the proposed method. The influence of demands’ power factor on the power loss allocated is also taken into account using the six-node meshed transmission network.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"8 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132738827","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nonetheless, there has been very little research on CSR communication associated with e-WOM. The purpose of this study is to see how e-WOM, as a means of sharing information about CSR activities, affects Vietnamese B2C e-commerce customers’ trust. With the help of 349 online consumers in Hanoi, data was gathered through online and direct survey methods. As a result of the findings, we can conclude that the relationship between e-WOM and customer’s trust is moderated by CSR messages. The empirical results show that market competition is negatively correlated with earnings management. This means firms operating in highly competitive market have low level of earnings management. It could be that intensified market competition works as an external disciplinary governance mechanism or it makes corporate misreporting more costly by increasing firms’ exposure to predation risk so as to curtail managers’ opportunistic behavior in these firms. The results are robust with respect to alternative measures of market competition and earnings management.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125924508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In that case, the company usually deals with human resource exhaustion. The understanding of their job mobility is useful for the company in a variety of ways, for example, employee recruitment, employee retention. While most studies focus on predicting the next job title or job recommendation based on previous experiences, the problem of forecast duration of employees working on the company at the individual level receives little attention. Moreover, previous methods treat the information from different experiences as similarly important so they cannot utilize the potential connection between experiences. To solve the above problems, we contribute a new model with attention mechanism. In particular, the attention mechanisms give more understanding to learned representations and give better results. We also predict next job title duration. Different from previous works, our model can effectively utilize the previous employee experiences and flexibly adapts to the information of different importance. Our methods are applied for 10.000 real-world employee profiles and show significant results that outperform the strong baseline model and other state-of-the-art methods.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"2022 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128073821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Particularly, a phase diagram is here explored and studied by Kane-Mele-Hubbard (KMH) model combined with mean-field theory and self-consistent algorithm. Results show that the graphene undergoes a phase transition from the gapless semi-metal to topological band insulator (TBI) at a finite SOC and weak Coulomb energy U, and another transition from the TBI to antiferromagnetic ordered insulator at stronger Coulomb energy U observed as well. Moreover, our calculations also point out the prior developing orientation of magnetic moments in the in-plane direction driven by the SOC rather than that in the out-of-plane direction without the SOC.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134134221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Accompany by the increasing demand for electricity by people and businesses, the electricity industry must always ensure sufficient supply for production activities. This poses an urgent need to have an accurate load forecasting tool for electricity production and distribution strategy. If the demand forecast is lower than the reality, the phenomenon of power supply shortage will occur. While if the forecast exceeds the demand for use by people and businesses, it will cause economic losses because it must mobilize power sources by using a backup as a diesel generator. For these reasons, the problem of electrical load forecasting becomes very important in terms of efficient power supply. In this paper, a load forecasting tool using Neural Network and Levenberg - Marquardt algorithm is presented.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114895911","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
