In the context of Vietnam, we find that experienced CEOs slow down the speed of obtaining the desired ratio of debt, after analyzing a sample of 694 public companies from 2010 to 2019. This pattern can be seen for both under- and over-the-target enterprises when leverage is measured by book and market value. Our findings are in line with other research that shows a negative correlation between CEOs' years of experience and debt levels. We expect that for experienced CEOs, the adjustment benefits are not large enough to substitute for adjustment costs, so they choose not to offset the deviation to the target leverage quicker.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"265 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123404114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve the above goals, the authors conducted a comprehensive literature review of the barriers to Vietnam's logistics system. We then used content analysis to extract the necessary data for the Interpretive Structural Model (ISM) and the Cross-Impact Matrix Multiplication Applied to Classification method (MICMAC). The research results indicate that barriers related to customs procedures and infrastructure investment capital, and accessibility of logistics enterprises to governmental capital were the most crucial barriers to the development of Vietnam's logistics system from 2015 to 2021.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"477 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116380446","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The material types of the core and face sheets of the beam are chosen so that the material continuity between the layers is guaranteed. The nonlinear governing equation including geometric nonlinearity is established via the principle of virtual work. This equation is discretized into a system of algebraic equations by the mesh-free approach, which is based on the C1 point interpolation method and polynomial basis functions, and then solved by the direct iterative method. The convergence of the mesh-free method is tested to determine the sufficient mesh level for the analysis. Comparative and comprehensive studies are performed to investigate both the correctness and the influences of several important parameters and boundary conditions on the linear and nonlinear deflections of the beam.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132040140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Suffusion is an erosion of fine particles inside the soil structure that move out of the voids between coarse particles caused by permeability flow. Identification of internal erosion is necessary to mitigate the loss of humans and property as underground erosion occurs. However, determining suffusion susceptibility in situ is complex and takes a lot of time. This study proposed a fine-grained erosion prediction model based on physical parameters related to the grading curve and the dry density. Using the principal component analysis (PCA) tool evaluated the influence of these parameters on suffusion. The proposed predictive model of the erosion resistance index (ERI) supports stakeholders in quickly determining the extent of erosion and then taking appropriate measures to maintain the earth dams.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128790457","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use of a SynRM eliminates the need for permanent magnets (PMs), reducing the dependence on rare earth materials and potentially lowering costs. In this paper, there are two approaches: a new approach of step-skewing rotor (SSR) is proposed to improve eletromagnetic parameters such as minimization of the active volume, maximization of the output power and reduction of the torque ripple of the SynRM. Then, a finite element technique is developed to analyse and simulate the distribution of magnetic flux and map efficiency of the proposed SynRM. Additionally, the paper has also investigated the distribution of temparature and machnical stress in the region of flux barries of the rotor.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"274 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116069282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Conducting a survey with users in Danang having read online reviews on Shopee.vn, 244 valid responses were used to evaluate the research model via PLS-SEM software. The study found that the information quality of online reviews strongly influences the helpfulness of online reviews compared to the information credibility of previous reviewers. Additionally, priced goods have a moderating effect on the relationship between online information credibility and online reviews helpfulness; and that relationship will be significant in high-priced products. This study makes a theoretical contribution to online reviews by elucidating the mechanisms of impact of review/reviewer information on reviews helpfulness and the moderating effect of product prices.","PeriodicalId":262140,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Science and Technology Issue on Information and Communications Technology","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121845951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
