These basic modes can be transmitted in turn or at the same time toany input and be able to select arbitrary outputs. The following inputs can only select the remaining outputs, so this process will not cause bottlenecks in the circuit. In order for the signals to be flexibly switched to the outputs without conflict, the phase shifters will be used to control their lightpaths. Through the BPM-3D beam propagation method, we have shown the flexible switching process between the input and output ports of the device with insertion loss always smaller than 1.8 dB in the range of wide wavelength from 1.53 µm to 1.565 µm. Specifically, attenuation only reaches -0.5 dB at the central wavelength of 1.55 µm. In addition, the crosstalk is always in a very small range from -44 dB to -24 dB for the entire band considered above. Nguyen-Le","doi":"10.31130/ud-jst.2022.144","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31130/ud-jst.2022.144","url":null,"abstract":"n this paper, we study the problem of optimizing the weighted total system rate (WSR) for a downlink broadcast communication system using multiple input-multiple output (MIMO) antenna technology, wherein a Base station (BS) transmits multiple data streams simultaneously to K multi-antenna MIMO mobile stations (MSs). Upon the power constraint, the optimal solution is to find the pre-coding matrices at the BS and the decoding matrices at the MSs. However, this type of optimization problem is usually nonlinear and non-convex, so it is relatively difficult to solve by analytical methods. To tackle the problem, we propose a novel algorithm to optimize the WSR of the system based on the Harris Hawking Optimization (HHO) algorithm using the linear least squares mean error (MMSE) filter at the MSs. Numerical results have been used to demonstrate the outperformance of the proposed algorithm, comparing with existing methods such as Block Diagonalism with Waterfilling algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization, particularly at the low signal-to-noise (SNR) range. Research on media effect on news consumption has soon attracted high scholarly interest. However, the majority of existing studies were Western-dominated and conducted in the early stages of the pandemic. Aiming to address these gaps, this paper probes into news consumption about COVID-19 in the 4th wave of Vietnam. Results show that internet-based websites (exclude online newspapers) were most-used by correspondents for news about the health pandemic. However, the internet users were less frequently to access news than online newspapers readers. Vietnamese public paid a huge attention to the COVID-19 situation whereas they diverged their interests in other pandemic information, i.e governmental policies, vaccine issues and scientific knowledge about Coronavirus. However, to approach practical applications, suitable cathode materials must be developed. As a two-dimensional layered material, MoS2-based materials are very potential candidates. Herein, MoS2/rGO materials were synthesized by hydrothermal method and then the charge-discharge properties of the fabricated materials were investigated when they are used as cathode materials for rechargeable Zn-ion batteries. The MoS2/rGO has an expanded interlayer, which achieves a high initial capacity of about 170 mAh/g but does not have a high stability. In contrast, the MoS2-KOA has a low capacity but is very stable, even after 200 charge/discharge cycles. Using the sample of 20-F forms published by foreign firms listed on the United States Stock Exchanges, we find a significantly negative association between the length of annual reports and readability. This result suggests that longer annual reports are not less readable. The change in writing styles with shorter sentences, which is better complied with regulations of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on disclosure, is considered the main reason for longer but more readable annual reports. Some species of the pests, e.g., Aleuroclava aucubae, Trialeurodes lauri, Trichopsocus clarus, are new recorded in Vietnam. The oriental fruit fly Bactrocera dorsalis is one of the major pest species devastating the water apple. Rainfall is a factor comprehensively influencing the population fluctuation of the oriental fruit fly. The pest population was exploded in the dry season, but reduced remarkably in the rainy season. The fruiting period from February to April was regarded as another major factor influencing the oriental fruit fly population in that area. The empirical results support the research hypothesis that CSR practices have a negative impact on the financial performance of oil and gas companies. This means CSR practices may impose a substantial burden on firms in the oil and gas industry. In addition, we find that different CSR practices have different sizes of impact on firm financial performance. In particular, environment practice has the biggest impact, social practice ranks second, and governance practice has the weakest impact. Herein, we report that an oleanolic acid saponin named pseudogisenoside RT1 methyl ester (A) was isolated from the roots of the species Aralia armata. The fractionated extracts of dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, water and compound A were investigated for their molluscicidal effects, specifically on Pomacea canaliculata. The tests showed that the extracts and compound A from A. armata roots had good activity against P. canaliculata snail. However, there is a lack of observed bleaching in many coral reefs in Vietnam, leading to difficulty in implementing the suitable management and protection solutions. The study aims to provide general information about coral bleaching in ST and CLC basing on bleaching alerts of NOAA Coral Reef Watch in 2019. Field data was collected by a photographic method for analyzing and classifying bleached coral. The results showed that coral reefs experienced low bleaching by an average of 8.86% and 9.09% in ST and CLC, respectively. The final product was characterized by IR, Raman and XRD spectroscopic methods illustrating the presence of pure a-Fe2O3. SEM images of this material revealed a homogeneous morphology of microcube Fe2O3 with a size of about 500 nm. The catalytic activity of cubic Fe2O3 was investigated on the degradation of methylene blue in a heterogeneous Fenton system. It was shown that the thermally oxidative decomposition of PB at 550oC has resulted in porous Fe2O3 which exhibited highest MB degradation efficiency.
