Following successful implementations from countries with similar healthcare system such as Hong Kong, and Australia, CH merges hospitals to establish an integrated network of specialist and non-specialist hospitals through shared resources, streamlined services and care coordination. A qualitative study was conducted to explore perceived barriers and boosters towards CH implementation and its sustainability among healthcare providers via semi-structured focus group discussions and in-depth interviews with purposefully selected respondents from the first six CHs. An Interview protocol was developed based on Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) covering five domains; intervention characteristics, outer setting, inner setting, characteristics of individuals, and process. This paper will only highlight the perceived barriers in the intervention characteristics domain. A total of 274 participants from varying professions were interviewed. Interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed and thematic analysis was performed. In this domain, barriers to implementation were found within three constructs; complexity, design quality & packaging, and cost. Issues highlighted include intervention was designed with vague guidelines & policies, distance and travel costs within a CH, medical record safety, huge capital and operating cost involved. It was found that adaptation of evidence-based interventions needs to take into account the local context of an organisation for the implementation to be successful and produce desired outcomes. Thus, these perceived barriers raised by ground-level implementers should be considered and acted upon when strategising towards CH sustainability.","PeriodicalId":260489,"journal":{"name":"LIFE: International Journal of Health and Life-Sciences","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133045793","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data, both qualitative and quantitative, from three studies (n=3, n=7, and n=16) and design of two research steps yet to be completed are presented to illustrate our methodological standing point. Furthermore, we aim to explore the usefulness of conceptualizing neurofeedback experience as a “game” in a research context, in contrast to the prevalent “neurofeedback as treatment” conceptualization. Overview of performed and planned research steps relying on mixed methods work with introspective data and EEG recordings as well as suggestions for direction of future research in the field of EEG neurofeedback are presented together with a brief description of an open-source application for neurofeedback practice and research, an application developed to help to build the short-term EEG neurofeedback theory.","PeriodicalId":260489,"journal":{"name":"LIFE: International Journal of Health and Life-Sciences","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115987447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Inoculation process enables soybean to achieve most, and sometimes all, of his nitrogen requirements through N2-fixation process, however, this process, like soybean plant itself, is drought-sensitive. Drought is globally-increasingly imposed as a result of climatic changes, negatively affecting soybean production. An experiment was conducted in Debrecen, Hungary in 2017 and 2018 to evaluate the influence of moderate drought stress on some physiological parameters of both inoculated and non-inoculated soybean plants. Results showed that drought negatively affected soybean's physiology and yield, regardless of inoculation; however, inoculated plants could maintain better values of studied parameters relative to their non-inoculated counterparts. On the other hand, drought occurring during R4 stage had more noticeable effects on soybean plants as compared to drought occurring earlier (at V2 stage) during vegetative period. It was concluded that inoculation could be a beneficial strategy in order for soybean to reveal better physiology and, consequently, better yield under moderate drought conditions, and that the timing of drought stress occurrence is crucial regarding soybean's vigor and final seed yield.","PeriodicalId":260489,"journal":{"name":"LIFE: International Journal of Health and Life-Sciences","volume":"133 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133758091","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
