The need to create humane, remarkably local\u0000 architecture and to minimize the effects of universal and international\u0000 clich?s, in order to avoid the danger of making architecture locally\u0000 unfounded and to invest it with meaning and a sense of place, certainly\u0000 poses a challenge for every modern architect. This paper deals with the\u0000 issue of contextuality and approach to the character and urban matrix of a\u0000 place, as characterizing the buildings in the Western Serbian city of Uzice\u0000 designed by architect Mihajlo Timotijevic. A critical approach is adopted in\u0000 analyzing Timotijevic?s architectural plans and buildings constructed in\u0000 Uzice, in the attempt to show that the architect takes a genuine interest in\u0000 the local topography and that which is called placemaking. The main goal of\u0000 this research is to underline the fact that Timotijevic?s ability to\u0000 perceive and read the messages sent by a place, materialize its\u0000 distinctivness and easily incorporate a "sense of place" in architectural\u0000 spaces has given the city of Uzice a new image, by integrating the spirit of\u0000 the regional with that of the contemporary. The\u0000 purpose of this paper is to consider potential uses of agent-based modelling\u0000 (ABM) in brownfield redevelopment decision support practice. Since the modernist architects and modern era in\u0000 architecture, the colors of the buildings were not in the focus of their\u0000 authors. On the contrary, the modern movement has taught us that color, and\u0000 especially artificial one, is almost a crime to use and in a way, it\u0000 expresses a lack of a style. Through examining universal color harmony\u0000 principles in this paper the problem and phenomenon of using colors in\u0000 contemporary architecture was discussed, which had its roots in the modern\u0000 movement and evolved through technological advance especially in material\u0000 technology. The industrial architecture is used as an example, to narrow down\u0000 the research field, but also for the reasons of extensive and creative use of\u0000 color in this type of buildings. We have examined several industrial\u0000 buildings that have been systematized into three categories.
