Then we will consider a family of sequences generated by non linear system selected according to the criteria maximum pic of periodic (MPPC) and aperiodic (MPAC) correlation. The performance of these sequences were computed and compared to the performance allowed by the classical Gold sequences. Numerical results showed that the use of these sequences improves the performance of conventional receiver.","PeriodicalId":259067,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Communications, Computing and Control Applications (CCCA)","volume":"9 7","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114117421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, is developed a novel parallel genetic algorithm to solve the single-machine scheduling problems. A comparison between the conventional and parallel versions of genetic algorithm is provided. It relates to the quality of the solution and the execution time of the two approaches. These latest may work in the same or in different operating conditions. Firstly, the method consists in estimating a linear model for each machine independently from other machines, based on the data collected on the machine itself. Secondly, the common part of the models is identified. For that purpose, a resemblance criterion is used to determine identical coefficients over all the models. New models are then generated under some equality constraints on these parameters. The last step of the method consists in validating the choice made about the common part and hence validating the new models. This is realized by a statistical test based on a comparison between new and old estimates. An academic example is finally presented to illustrate the results of the method.","PeriodicalId":259067,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Communications, Computing and Control Applications (CCCA)","volume":"150 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122760540","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We use at the transmitter a BICM (Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation) based scheme obtained by the concatenation of a binary code and a modulator separated by an interleaver. Because of the interleaving, the optimal receiver is too complex. In order to achieve a good complexity/performance trade-off, we propose to use an iterative receiver. The basic idea of the iterative processing is to exchange extrinsic information between the different stages of the receiver to successively improve the performance during the iterations. We consider the case of flat fading channels where a turbo-demodulator is used. An optimization of the mapping is required to obtain a gain by using the iterative receivers. In order to make the mapping choice easier, we propose to perform an analysis based on the Gaussian approximation. This analysis relies on only one simulation of the demodulator.","PeriodicalId":259067,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Communications, Computing and Control Applications (CCCA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131359455","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unfortunately, one of the most important problems concerning the use of the rules of priority is the fact that no rule seems overall better than the others. To regulate these problems, we will combine rules of priorities and scheduling with selection of alternative routings in real time rule DMM. This combination will be realized according to the operating conditions, of the production targets and the state of the job-shop. Since the state of the workshop changes during time, we propose to analyze the state of the system each time a decision of scheduling must be taken, in order to take into account the real state of the job-shop. This approach will be implemented on a model of job-shop and will simulate by the simulation software ARENA.","PeriodicalId":259067,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Communications, Computing and Control Applications (CCCA)","volume":"62-63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131867373","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We show that the Root-MUSIC algorithm can be directly applied in the case of the non uniform array. Moreover, we show that the elimination of a certain sensors of a uniform array degrades only very slightly the performance thanks to the use of the high-resolution(HR) methods like Root-MUSIC. We also show that root-MUSIC presents good performances, and does not require any additional data transformation. In addition, an analytical expression from the estimator variance are derived in order to support our simulation results and to show the advantages of the NLA.","PeriodicalId":259067,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Communications, Computing and Control Applications (CCCA)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132295221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This class of system contain N-interconnected subsystems. In fact, it operates one architecture for the direct adaptive method. This is a centralized feedback controller. It is assured by some adaptation laws which are proposed to estimate the unknown potential of sensors faults, disturbances and controller parameters Online. Then, a class of centralized controllers return state is constructed to automatically compensate for the effects of faults and external disturbances based on information extracted. An adaptive mechanism from a scheme where active fault tolerant system is exploited. A combined continuous-time and discrete-time approach is proposed, by adopting a switched system technique. Depending on the sampling period value, we treat the system as a switched system consisting of two subsystems. The two subsystems correspond to the small sampling case and the large sampling case, respectively. First, the small sampling case is studied by using the Razumikhin technique in the continuous-time framework. A condition is given to guarantee that the Lyapunov function decreases at the sampling instants, for the small sampling case. This Razumikhin-based result can be combined with the existing discrete-time methods so that the whole stability interval (small and large sampling parts) can be verified. This criterion is necessary and sufficient to guarantee the quadratic stability so that the maximum quadratic stability interval can be obtained. This combined continuous-time and discrete-time approach has two advantages over the existing approaches: 1) it can lead to a larger stability interval than those derived by the conventional continuous-time and discrete-time approaches; 2) it may reduce the computational complexity.","PeriodicalId":259067,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Communications, Computing and Control Applications (CCCA)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134257743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fact of transforming a software task into a hardware task leads to many changes, so much of the hardware side (connection, requirement of an interruption controller, …), of the software side (a task at least, Inputs/Outputs(I/O), synchronization, …) and from an architectural point of view, notable aspects of memorization of data.
