We show that the Root-MUSIC algorithm can be directly applied in the case of the non uniform array. Moreover, we show that the elimination of a certain sensors of a uniform array degrades only very slightly the performance thanks to the use of the high-resolution(HR) methods like Root-MUSIC. We also show that root-MUSIC presents good performances, and does not require any additional data transformation.
