In this paper, we review the most multi-frequency MAC protocols which deploy more than one frequency to transmit data to neighbors. After that, we propose an optimized TDMA multi-frequency scheduling access contribution for sensor networks which is based on three phases. In the first phase, we assign frequencies based on parent node reception in communication tree structure. The reduction of the number of frequencies is provided, in phase two, based on the principle of the graph coloring. Finally, in the last phase, we reduce frequencies to the maximum number of allowed frequencies with TDMA (Time Division) clustering principle. Our results are compared with the other works and have showed that our strategy can remove more interference between neighbors, optimize communication delay and adapt with the maximum number of frequencies in WSN (Wireless Sensor Networks).","PeriodicalId":259067,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Communications, Computing and Control Applications (CCCA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130785171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method exploits the fact that a Lyapunov equation solution can be decomposed into low-rank Choleski factors, which are determined by the Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) method. Advantages of the method are that it operates on the sparse descriptor matrices and does not require the computation of spectral projections onto deflating subspaces of finite eigenvalues, which are needed by other techniques applied to descriptor models. The Gramians, which are never explicitly formed, are used to compute reduced-order state-space models for large-scale systems. Extensions of the method's application to algebraic Riccati equation computation are also considered. Numerical results for small-signal stability power system descriptor models show that the method is efficient for large-scale systems reduced-order model (ROM) computation.","PeriodicalId":259067,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Communications, Computing and Control Applications (CCCA)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133116193","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a combination of pre-coding and clipping is used to reduce PAPR. This dual operation of pre-coding and clipping provides better PAPR than both conventional pre-coding and clipping method. With this technique, the PAPR can be reduced without increasing roll-off factor. The bit error rate (BER) has also been taken as performance evaluation parameter. Two pulse shapes namely square root raised cosine (SQRC) and better than raised cosine (BTRC) are also compared with the proposed technique to reduce PAPR.","PeriodicalId":259067,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Communications, Computing and Control Applications (CCCA)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115439586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem is first formulated as a decomposable convex optimisation problem. Dual decomposition is presented as a way to decompose the problem into smaller subproblems that can be solved locally by the nodes. Particular attention is paid to networks using cooperative communication techniques. Due to the pressures from both environmental awareness and business sustainability, several companies must work in collaboration to solve partially the problem of waste recovery. The purpose of this work is to help those companies who would like to pursue reverse logistics as axe of profit. In this paper, we describe a design of two levels reverse logistic supply chain for multiclass of products in pseudo dynamic approach by considering the uncertain quantity of collected products. The model is formulated in MIP and solved by using Lingo12 solver. Since the assumption of investment should be progressive, an analysis by scenario is used to regard the recovery rate. Also, the capacity of each remanufacturing center is discussed.","PeriodicalId":259067,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Communications, Computing and Control Applications (CCCA)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116790910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
