Three aspects stand out in this paper: the current context of reforms in the foundations of our education; the importance of the role of the classroom professional; the formative curriculum of our professionals. Schools are stuck in the traditional teaching method, without access to technology or any other instrument or methodology, they need a paradigm shift, including in their teaching groundbreaking interdisciplinary teaching techniques that improves kid’s learning in a very significant way. The main objective of the present article is to evaluate an interdisciplinary teaching practice using Station Rotation technique to develop healthy eating habits, including Portuguese, English and Science. An activity plan was developed and applied to kindergarten students of a private School in the city of Sao Gabriel, RS. It’s about a research-action with participant observation and data analysis of documents written by the teacher and the school coordinator. The analysis shows the benefits of an interdisciplinary activity, such as the participation and curiosity of the students. Working pedagogical contents in an interdisciplinary way provides the kids resources which develop teaching-learning in an independent approach, besides improving the interaction as well as improving group interaction and classroom dynamics. We have analyzed 85 articles from the years 2017 to 2019. This investigation sought data regarding gender, methodology, authors' gender, keywords, area of knowledge, regions and countries, most discussed themes, existence of results and institutions most cited. From the data analysis, it was possible to correlate the terms interdisciplinarity and environmental education with several subjects from different areas of knowledge, within a context of analysis of the complexity that the themes require. It was reinforced the idea that these themes are requiring new theories and methodologies, which integrate the scientific rigor of the researcher with the analytical creativity of the educator. In this sense, a reflexion about the needs to turn mathematics more attractive was made, where the classroom is not an isolated space, but providing a discussion space to unite theories and practices with the aim of training active students in their teaching and learning process. This activity model was developed in a school in Rosario do Sul – RS, with a 9th grade middle school, with 12 students and realized through four distinct moments: introduction to initial concepts, laboratorial trials, real world trials using an app, and, finally, performing calculations and discussing their results. The research question lied on the following: What are the potentials to work in the classroom, in an interdisciplinary way, knowledge concerning the Farroupilha Week? The qualitative approach research was carried out at a municipal Elementary school located in Sao Gabriel, RS, Brazil. 15 fourth-grade students participated in the activities and the class leading teacher (first author of the article). Therefore, was established as a participant. The interdisciplinary activities elaborated involved knowledge in the fields of History, Geography, Sciences, Arts, Portuguese Language, Literature and Mathematics. As we worked about this commemorative day in a contextualized and interdisciplinary way, we ended up providing more sense to the knowledge acquired. However, we consider as the main challenge found the lack of awareness about the importance of the interdisciplinary work by the other school teachers. This article aims to make a diagnosis of knowledge about waste management and environmental education to the members of the school community of EMCEF Baltazar Teixeira da Silveira, located in the Cerro do Ouro District - Sao Gabriel / RS. The institution has 55 students enrolled, from kindergarten (preschool) to elementary school (1st to 9th grade), and 17 servants (including teachers and staff). The emphasis of the study refers to identifying the main waste produced in the school and the forms of disposal carried out by the school community, in which it was identified that the organic waste is placed in the existing compost at the school and that solid waste has two paths: 1- discarded in a hole and incinerated; and 2 - defined as recyclable, driven to the city by school bus. Data collection was performed by applying a questionnaire to teachers and students. Foram utilizados como referências artigos, teses, monografias, dissertações com estudo de caso. As dificuldades recorrentes encontradas foram a falta de infraestrutura e a falta de espaço para armazenamento dos resíduos sólidos. Os cooperativados, para poder negociar com as indústrias e garantir uma renda maior necessitam acumular um grande volume de resíduos. A solução é a apropriação indevida do meio-fio, de meios de passagem, das ruas ou de qualquer local que possa acomodar os excedentes. São vários transtornos causados pela falta de infraestrutura: entupimento da rede de esgoto, alagamentos, proliferação de animais nocivos à saúde humana, desvalorização dos imóveis, o aumento de doenças respiratórias, devido ao mau cheiro causado pela atividade e o risco de incêndio. O exposto acima, relata os possíveis motivos do repúdio da comunidade em relação às cooperativas.
