Abstract

This paper reflects and discusses the musical issue in early childhood education in the context of the municipality of Sao Gabriel, Rio Grande do Sul State (Brazil), aiming to investigate the practices and intentionalities of activities involving music, considering their impacts on an inclusive and aggregating education. Three aspects stand out in this paper: the current context of reforms in the foundations of our education; the importance of the role of the classroom professional; the formative curriculum of our professionals.
