This study is aims at emperically comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the foreign investor to the domestic investor in term of information, behavior and performance. For this purpose, weekly stock trading data over the period 2014 – 2015 are utilized and testing using independent t-test. The study found that advantage of information and investor’s behavior between foreign and domestic investor did not show significant differences, but the trading performance showed a significant difference. Additionally, the study found that the absence of herding bias and investor competency in generating trade performance was due to their expertise in stock selection rather than market timing. These findings implied that both investors tended to use contrarian investment strategy than momentum strategy in trading them in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The regional government affairs has increased with the enactment of Law Number 23 Year 2014 on Regional Government. Many policies change and this must be obeyed by all governmental arrangements, both Central Government and Local Government. Autonomy of this area needs to get special attention in government affairs. New problems may arise if the division of authority is not clearly regulated and explicit with the legislation, for example: the existence of Civil Servant Investigator (PPNS) in Satuan Pamong Praja Police Unit. Enforcement tasks are generally carried out by a civil service of the police force (Satpol PP) established by the local government and structurally under local government. It also has duties in maintaining public order, security and peace, and the protection of the community. PPNS in Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja of East Java Province has enforcement task of local regulation and the role effectiveness of Civil Service Police Unit in supporting PPNS performance. The model used is independent sample t-test. The result showed that agriculture modernization has a positive and negative impact on farmer’s income. While the farmers who own the land have more revenue because of the reduced cost for production, female farmers who do not own the land have less income. This is because opportunity and working hour carried out by farmer is replaced by modern machine. Thus, the female workers must improve their technology skill to be able to farm. On the other hand, mastering the technology can help them to access other sectors that provide better job opportunities and income. As much as the election has brought positive impact in the implementation of democracy in Aceh for 12 years, it also has disadvantages. One of the phenomena is political dynasties such as in Nagan Raya District under the leadership of Regent period 2012-2017, and he had run the office for about 15 years. During his term of office, he has built a political dynasty by appointing a number of his family members and relatives as heads in Nagan Raya District government institutions. This political dynasty has become a chance for corruption, collusion, and nepotism in the district. This research was aimed at finding out the processes, practices, and procedures which Nagan Raya Regent period 2012-2017 followed to maintain his political dynasty. This research used primary and secondary data. The data were analyzed quantitatively by using a content analysis model. The research results show that Nagan Raya Regent period 2012-2017 maintained his political dynasty by appointing his family members and relatives in strategic positions in the government structures, nominating his wife to become a member and the leader of Legislative Council, assisting his younger brother to run for a regent candidate nominated by the Golkar Party. He helped his brother to win the vote by using political mobilization and by intimidating village administrators and civil servants, forcing subdistrict heads to collect some village fund from each village head to finance his brother political campaign, and advertising his brother by distributing campaign calendar in a number of offices, departments, and institutions in Nagan Raya District. This teaching method solves the problems of time, space, and cost in learning. Despite its importance and popularity, the usage of elearning is not fully utilized by the students. Due to that, the objective of this study is to assess the relationship between technology acceptance model (TAM) construct, technology characteristic, and intention behavior to use e-learning in Universiti Teknologi MARA, Pahang, Malaysia. A modified TAM was applied in this study. A questionnaire was adapted and used to gather information from 142 Bachelors’ degree students. IBM SPSS (version 24) was used to analyze the data. The reliability, correlation, and regression analysis were applied on four variables, namely perceive ease of use, perceive usefulness, attitude toward using e-learning, and technology characteristic. The result shows that all the variables have significant influence towards the intention behavior to use e-learning. The technology characteristic is the variable that influences the most towards the intention to use e-learning. The result is expected to contribute to the university and academicians to improve e-learning system for students’ benefits.
