This device ensures correct communication between local units and central command unit. The first part sets Slave device position in the monitoring system, and then there it is a detailed description of the hardware parts of the device. Main algorithms are presented as the basis for achieving software part. The proper functioning of the equipment is shown in the final part, through oscillograms, where are presented the communication moments of Slave device with other system components. Finally, are gleaned important aspects related to the monitoring system of the local antihail units.","PeriodicalId":257135,"journal":{"name":"2015 19th International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131300449","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main goal of this present research work is to analyze how to learn prediction model defining failure as response variable. A model of this type can be used for active real-time-controlling (e. g. through the reassignment of workflow activities based on prediction results) or for the automated support of redesign (i.e., prediction results are transformed in software requirements used to implement process improvements). The proposed methodology is based on the application of a data mining process because the objective of this work can be considered as a data mining goal.","PeriodicalId":257135,"journal":{"name":"2015 19th International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130279604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The collaborative process is of great importance in CSCL research, especially in the case of using chat which is one of the most important tools in CSCL. Hence, it is important to assess collaboration in chats, which presumes identifying the intertwining of ideas or points of view among participants. For this purpose, a specific model is assumed to analyze and assess the collaboration in chat. This model depends primarily on the ideas of Mikhail Bakhtin's dialogism theory and Stefan Trausan-Matu's polyphonic model in order to extract the threads (repeated words) discussed in the chat. Moreover, cue phrases and their usage in linking threads are also identified in order to detect the collaboration between participants. For this purpose, integrated tools were used with comprehensive functionality (Natural Language Processing techniques, linkage process and chat analysis) in order to analyze the content of the chat. The results reveal that the toolkit we developed based on the assumed model is quite effective in helping teachers to analyze and assess the students' collaborative chats. The results are presented concisely in statistical tables and graphics to make our understanding of the collaborative process easier. It also allows students to know and understand the interactions and how it contributes to the conversation.","PeriodicalId":257135,"journal":{"name":"2015 19th International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130052548","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper is presenting a complex analytical model for the photobioreactor that embeds the effect of pH on the photosynthetic growth of microalgae. The static characteristics of the multivariable non-square system are discussed along with the solution for its reduction when control strategies are aimed. It is proposed a control structure of the plant in which the photobioreactor's control loop drives the one of anaerobic digester. The proposed control strategy combines a robust model predictive control law with a proportional-integral (PI) regulator. The predictive controller guarantees the tracking of the reference trajectory, whereas the PI regulator ensures a good tracking accuracy. The proposed robust predictive controller considers only the most influential model parameters (chosen from a sensitivity analysis), and involves the minimization of a regularized optimization problem. This new formulation of the predictive controller ensures a good trade-off between tracking accuracy and computation time. The developed hierarchical strategy is applied to a macroscopic continuous photobioreactor system, for regulating the biomass concentration at a chosen setpoint. Finally, the proposed strategy is validated in simulation to assess its efficiency.","PeriodicalId":257135,"journal":{"name":"2015 19th International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122899591","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
