Recent years have shown results in dictionary improvement by investigating the cosupport via the analysis-based cosparse model. In this paper we present a new cosparse learning algorithm for orthogonal dictionary blocks that provides significant dictionary recovery improvements and representation error shrinkage. The fields of application involve among others, the military as well as the medical industries. This paper presents the design of part of an exoskeleton aimed to enhance the performance of people that have had spinal injury or that suffer from some problem or pain in the lumbar area. An experimental platform was built that allows the wearer to perform his/her tasks without making a big effort that could cause pain or injuries in the lumbar zone. The experimental platform employs Pneumatic Artificial Muscles (PAM) as actuators because they are suitable for applications were force is required. However being these actuators highly nonlinear devices, the control as well as the electronics involved in the design of the experimental set up are not a simple tasks. The experimental set up presented here is a one degree of freedom device attached to the trunk of a user. To start with a PD controller was employed. This set up is part of a bigger project that considers a complete exoskeleton that involves the four limbs and the middle part of a human body. In this paper, the smart home proposed system has been presented basis on two types of sensor. As well as the evaluation comparison among Destination Sequenced Distance Vector with Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector has discussed to determine the optimal routing protocols. Motion sensor used for detecting any movement in this system while the MQ-7 is really suitable for detecting various gases. Three different factors namely pause interval time, node numbers and speed of nodes is estimated on the Network Simulator (ns-2) based on Linux operating system. Additionally, The performance metrics average end to end time delay, data packet delivery ratio and routing load which is analyzed. The model, based on mass balance considerations, consists in the coupling of two sub-models, namely a biological model and a chemical speciation model. The biological model allows the prediction of biomass, substrate and product concentrations, while the chemical speciation model is a computational package that quantitatively describes each molecular and ionic species of the system. The intermittent electricity in Lebanon leads to widely use diesel generator groups and to install renewable energy in private places in order to cover the consumption during the power cut. The proposed case study consists of three energy hubs integrating renewable energy, diesel engines, and batteries. A discussion of the model formulation, based on the seminal work of Sonnleitner and Käppeli, is provided. A parameter identification of the resulting model is first performed and the dispersion of the parameter values is explained through a sensitivity analysis. Following the continuous process stability analysis, a closed-loop optimization of the bioethanol outflow rate using a model-free extremum-seeking algorithm is suggested. Influence of the operational conditions, such as propeller speed, preheating the inlet gases and catalyst basket are analyzed. The study objectives in this paper are twofold: first, a control strategy for bringing the reactor at the operating point as fast as possible and second, a control strategy which is able to keep the system within specified temperatures interval. The mathematical model was developed in the SIMBA simulation environment. The system is based on an actual municipal wastewater treatment plant. The implemented architecture is similar to that in BSM1 (the digestion anaerobic process is not treated) so that the Activated Sludge Model 2d is used to describe the variables and processes of the wastewater treatment plant. The control strategies were simulated, using the model of an influent having loads corresponding to the real plant, for a dry regime, in open and closed loop. The algorithm creates a trajectory composed of a global trajectory generated off-line and local obstacle avoidance trajectories that are created when an obstacle is detected by the sonar sensors. Only one discrete-time sliding-mode controller is required to track the resulting trajectory and it does not require separate controllers for following the intended trajectory and avoiding the obstacle. Wheeled mobile robots (WMRs) equipped with robotic manipulator are used in the disassembly operation. The developed model can be used in the stages of designing, configuring and sizing of an Assembly/Disassembly Mechatronic Line (A/DML). For the control and monitoring of an A/DML a Hybrid Petri Net (HPN) model is proposed. In order to facilitate the transformation of the developed HPN model into models useful for supporting the design of control algorithms, a methodology to transform arcs in synchronization events is outlined. The decomposition of Hybrid Petri Net in Synchronized Hybrid Petri Nets (SHPN) suitable for specific programming language is discussed.
