This has created a need for the copyright protection of digital content. In this paper a novel reversible visible watermarking algorithm is proposed to cater the needs of copyright protection and to resume the original image data processing at the receiver's end. This proposed algorithm uses a Noise Sensitive Region Based Watermarking Embedding (NSRBWE) Technique to embed the watermark W in the given region R of Image I. To extract the original image from the visible watermarked image it is necessary to remove the full watermark. We preserve the information of altered pixels of the region R in the rest of image I - R. Our algorithm can fully remove the watermark from the visible watermarked image. It uses a Secret Key K to reconstruct the altered pixels value. In addition, only users with correct secret key K can restore the original image.","PeriodicalId":256285,"journal":{"name":"IEEE EUROCON 2009","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124819191","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although they can be physically measured after the implementation of the microwave circuits, accurate calculation of these parameters plays a crucial role in the design process. By using a time domain technique such as finite difference time domain, it is possible to calculate the scattering parameters in wide frequency range efficiently. This paper presents a detailed step by step procedure for numerical calculation of the scattering parameters in three dimensional waveguide structures which include a general type of scattering object inside them using finite difference time domain technique. Technical recipes for efficient and accurate calculations are provided for source excitation, 3-D PML absorbing boundary condition and S-parameter extraction method.","PeriodicalId":256285,"journal":{"name":"IEEE EUROCON 2009","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123405377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper shows the determination of a 3-phase cable system electromagnetic field, applying the COMSOL Multiphysics computer program. Two components of electric field strength vector, potential electric field and induced electric field, are calculated separately, as well as the magnetic field vectors. Induced currents are studied in all constructive elements of cable system. As a consequence of that the MV lines performed of this type of cables spontaneously form a very large and complex grounding system around the HV/MV distribution substations. The area encompassed by this type of grounding system is much larger than occupied by the HV/MV substation itself. Because of that these grounding systems manifest excellent performances including a very low value of the impedance to ground. The problem with this type of grounding systems appears only at the design stage of the HV/MV substation, when safety condition inside and in the vicinity of this substation should be estimated. This paper provides improvements in accuracy to the only existing practical method developed for the analysis of this type of grounding systems.","PeriodicalId":256285,"journal":{"name":"IEEE EUROCON 2009","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115172764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The preference of IVR services by Nigerian GSM subscribers can be attributed solely to this fact. A system has been developed on the VoiceXML platform to serve as a panacea for this problem. The developed system called ‘ASR4CRM’ obviates human-to-human interaction in the complaint lodging and solution provision process, by replacing it with human-to-system interactivity. ASR4CRM has a 3-tier architecture. The telephone system constitutes the first tier; the VoiceXML gateway and the web server constitute the middleware, while the database constitutes the third tier. The system was tested with the top twenty-four FAQs from a leading Nigerian GSM carrier (MTN) and successfully deployed on Voxeo voice server. The system has succeeded in removing the human intermediaries in totality for system-activated responses with the attendant benefit of improved customer relationship management (CRM).","PeriodicalId":256285,"journal":{"name":"IEEE EUROCON 2009","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116159385","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
