Only the DC-motor drive is considered. The objective of this analysis is to identify, for four selected cases, the paper mill fuel chargeable to shaft power and the tie-line power associated with the paper machine drive application. Combined with local fuel and power costs, the energy-cost impacts of each drive alternative are calculated.<<ETX>>","PeriodicalId":254957,"journal":{"name":"Conference Record of 1988 Annual Pulp and Paper Industry Technical Conference","volume":"211 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1988-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114841974","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
