However, the increasingly high requirements of customers, the government, and other stakeholders have led to new hurdles in achieving more sustainable operations that incorporate social and environmental issues into production processes, while also achieving high levels of profitability. Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a method that has been proven to be effective for companies in order to attain sustainable performance goals. However, few studies have been devoted to reviewing the literature in order to identify the most commonly used LSS tools in the context of sustainability, as well as the different measures used to assess the economic, social and environmental outcomes that result from the use of the LSS approach. Thus, the objective of this paper is to conduct an in-depth literature review to present and synthesize the main results of previous studies on the impact of LSS tools on companies' sustainable performance pillars. The main finding of this literature review was that there are four categories of studies that have presented the relationship between the LSS approach and the concept of sustainability. Furthermore, the most used LSS tools in the context of sustainability have been identified, among which VSM, Cause and effect diagram, Pareto analysis, 5S, DoE, DMAIC and 5 why analysis. In addition, some of the least used LSS tools in the literature are TQM, Process Sigma Calculation, Consumption analysis, Cost- benefit analysis, SOPs and JIT. We also concluded that among the three dimensions of sustainable performance, the number of social performance measurements used is the highest.","PeriodicalId":253343,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Colloquium of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121413327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use of a geographic information system (GIS) could prevent further damage. The aim of this research is to recommend the best GIS technique for accident investigation in different scenarios. In this review article, we introduce and discuss two basic GIS methods for simulating road accidents and offer some recommendations for effective road safety accident analysis tools. Based on the work examined, current issues and future research directions are determined. The purpose of this article is to determine the location and duration of road sections with high accident rates (black zones). A comparison is made between two approaches: one employs the average nearest neighbor to identify highway segments where motorized collisions are clustered, scattered, or random, the other employs kernel density estimation to identify black spots. Our study differs from others in that it examines the identification of potential hotspots and improves the ability to probe a specific lane through identification “hazardous probable lengths,” which aims to predict future traffic crashes. The detected and likely to be identified hotspots have different spatial and temporal characteristics. Different regional and temporal characteristics are present at the identified hotspots. It is clear that there are some geographic clusters of accidents. Most of the identified hotspots in the Northwest and Center-West regions are located along rural highways. In the Central-East region, both hot zones are broadly distributed to the Northeast and Southwest, particularly in NH1 and NH2, where much urban activity occurs. Spatial autocorrelation indices per region address the variability within the areas and provide us with important insights that can feed into Tunisian safety regulations.","PeriodicalId":253343,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Colloquium of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115898544","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Likewise, the contribution of this paper is to promote Activity-Based Pricing within health establishments in Morocco, the main objective is to optimize financial resources and to review traditional financing methods. We opted for an exploratory study using SPSS, in order to measure the internal consistency of the measurement scales. For the second analysis, that of the confirmatory factor analysis, we started a rigorous process in order to test the hypotheses from the literature and from the study context. This step is major and was carried out using the PLS-SEM. The results obtained by our sample, which is made up of healthcare professionals from the Hassan II - Fez Hospital Center, have led us to understand that activity-based pricing strongly contributes to improving the financial performance of any hospital structure, specifically the Hassan II-Hospital. Today, Moroccan health establishments are very conscious of optimizing financial resources in order to deal with multiple obstacles. Moreover, this new method of financing is important since it will bring changes and continuous improvements in favor of the hospital and their patients. Activity-based pricing is considered a mode of financing which must be absolutely applied in the Moroccan hospital context. The originality of our paper will devote to future studies to initiate this research process in the health sector which currently seems essential and will bring more significant results in terms of funding hospital activities and performance.","PeriodicalId":253343,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Colloquium of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124783196","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In reality, sulphuric acid generated by the gas treatment industry in Tunisia has harmful effects on both environment and health. The transformation process generates several risks. Hence, we address a multi-criteria aggregation method “Measuring Attractiveness by a Categorical Based Evaluation Technique” (MACBETH) to evaluate risks alternatives based on imprecise assessments expressed by a decision-maker. The non-homogeneous input data encourages us to incorporate triangular fuzzy logic and develop an extension of the MACBETH approach for a fuzzy environment: Triangular Fuzzy MACBETH approach which resolution helps the decision-maker to classify the various risks according to their importance order into M-MACBETH software. However, our goal is to identify the most dangerous risks so that necessary precautions can be taken. Then, five major risks are assessed in accordance with four criteria through linguistic information.","PeriodicalId":253343,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Colloquium of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125867222","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The global digital revolution altered the physical events in the manufacturing industries., such as procurement., production/assembling, and distribution of goods. In the context of Industry 4.0, the future supply chains (SCs) on how physical objects are transported, handled, stored, supplied, realized, and used around the world can be reshaped by the Physical Internet to improve SC efficiency and sustainability, and Internet of things (IoT) allows industry-relevant items such as materials, sensors, machines, and products, or in terms of Physical Internet containers, to all be connected and communicate with one another. On the other hand, manufacturing companies are more concerned about the adoption of sustainability in the SC. Furthermore, as consumers become more concerned about purchasing environmentally friendly products, SCs are motivated to spend more on sustainability efforts and Industry 4.0 technology, resulting in a more sustainable world. Changing market conditions have compelled these organizations to examine their SC efforts to effectively penetrate sustainability through diverse strategies such as lean, green, circular, and industry 4.0, among others. This paper seeks to identify the contributions of IoT to sustainable supply chain management (SSC) through a systematic literature review of the existing literature. In the current context, one of the focus areas for researchers and practitioners in the IoT. Researchers working in the SSC and industry 4.0 will benefit from the findings of this study, while practitioners can use the prioritized solution measures to develop effective strategies to overcome sustainable supply chain adoption problems.","PeriodicalId":253343,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Colloquium of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117134236","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a consequence as they were not prepared, many companies were severely impacted. The supply difficulties that arose with the pandemic revealed the fragility of these chains and the strong dependence of our economy on external sourcing. The COVID-19 crisis called into question the ability of companies to anticipate new risks, particularly health hazards when defining their supply chain strategy. It is in such situations that the importance of adopting an agile strategy inside the organization shows. So, faced with such a serious situation, Moroccan companies have been forced to rethink their strategies by implementing new agile practices allowing them to adapt to this critical context. In this perspective, the present research paper aims to explore the main agile managerial practices implemented within Moroccan companies to support their supply chains during the covid-19 health crisis. To do so, a qualitative approach of an exploratory nature was adopted. Semi-directive interviews were conducted with eight logistics managers from various sectors. This research is mainly focused on the exploration of an original concept in the strategic and organizational management of Moroccan supply chains, which is agility that has been poorly studied in the past especially within Moroccan companies. The originality also relates to the current status of the research field as the subject will be treated in the current context of the covid-19 health crisis.","PeriodicalId":253343,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Colloquium of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"165 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116915515","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
