The results indicate that the urban freight flow has a trend of regular growth. The challenges of last mile logistics mentioned in the article were classified into four categories: infrastructure, logistics costs, technology and last mile logistics management. Similarly, the proposed ways of improvement were examined under the pillars of sustainable development, social, economic and environmental. Finally, we have contributed to highlighting future research that allows researchers, practitioners and professionals to understand last mile logistics as a discipline and to draw out models of last mile distribution in order to build the urban logistics of tomorrow.","PeriodicalId":253343,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Colloquium of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129247527","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The following work is focusing first, on the problem of loading operations of outbound containers. Thus, the sequencing of both yard crane and truck is studied at the same time. Moreover, the possibility of potential interferences between yard cranes and the problem of shifting which significantly influence the performance of yard cranes is considered. In the literature, there is no work that combines interferences between yard cranes and shifting problem at the same time which is the innovation point of our work. The scheduling problem of the operations loading containers is formulated as a mixed linear program model. The objective function is to minimize the makespan of handling operations by the yard cranes. The mathematical model is based on various assumptions and it includes the potential interferences and the shifting problem.","PeriodicalId":253343,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Colloquium of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122696369","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both companies adopt the same fleet of vehicles from a company providing logistics and transport services. The originality of this work is to propose a model that combines the transport of the two networks studied to take advantage of the empty returns. We have developed a mathematical model for the optimal allocation of trucks for the two networks in a closed-loop logistics chain that simultaneously optimizes the transport cost and CO2 emissions using the LP-metric method. The objective of this study is to determine the optimal vehicle allocation in the distribution networks that minimizes truck utilization taking into account the different financial and environmental constraints.","PeriodicalId":253343,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Colloquium of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LOGISTIQUA)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127178992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In which companies are constantly looking for adequate methods to meet these needs with the minimum of investment and to obtain lasting and rapid results to keep their places in the market. In this context, this research work presents a literature review of the Lean approach and its impact on social factors, as well as the procedures for implementing a new Lean Management plus model. This concept was developed within as part of improving production management and optimizing security risks and ergonomic constraints.
