There are still many people who have not behaved to do what is directed by the government. This happens due to the low literacy ability of the community and there are still many people who do not have access to information media, so the attitudes and knowledge possessed by the community are still minimal in the outbreak of this Covid-19 outbreak. Knowledge and attitudes are very important in determining one's behavior because knowledge forms beliefs that will then become the basis for a person in taking a stand and determining behavior toward certain objects. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes toward Covid-19 prevention behavior in Pabelan Village. This research is analytical research with a cross-sectional design. The research was conducted on residents of Pabelan Kartasuro Sukoharjo Village with a total sample of 51 respondents. The sampling technique uses the simple random sample method. The Chi-Square test conducted obtained a p-value of > 0.05 (1.00) for the relationship between attitude and Covid-19 prevention behavior. The results of the analysis of the relationship of knowledge with Covid prevention behavior p>0,05. There is no relationship between attitudes and knowledge and Covid prevention behavior. Good attitudes and knowledge related to Covid are expected to be able to provide positive prevention behavior.","PeriodicalId":251564,"journal":{"name":"Adi Husada Nursing Journal","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121754215","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Poor personal hygiene is one of the factors that cause pruritus vulvae complaints. This study aims to determine the relationship between personal hygiene during menstruation and the incidence of pruritus vulvae in adolescents at SMK Plus NU Sidoarjo. The research design is analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The population of all teenagers in SMK plus Nu Sidoarjo with a sample size of 90 respondents was taken by proportional stratified sampling. The independent variable is personal hygiene and the dependent variable is pruritus vulvae. The research instrument is a questionnaire, analyzed by the Spearman rank test at a significance level of = 0,05. The results showed that half (50%) of adolescent girls had good personal hygiene and most (51,1%) had mild pruritus vulvae. Spearman rank test analysis obtained a value of P = 0,000, meaning that there is a relationship between personal and pruritus vulvae in adolescent girls at SMK Plus   NU Sidoarjo. It can be concluded that the better personal hygiene, the lighter the incidence of pruritus vulvae, on the contrary, the less personal hygiene, the more severe the incidence of pruritus vulvae. It is expected that young women will carry out proper personal hygiene in order to maintain the health and cleanliness of the reproductive organs in preventing the occurrence of pruritus vulvae.","PeriodicalId":251564,"journal":{"name":"Adi Husada Nursing Journal","volume":"2000 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114194458","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Once the person worries about the emergence of a new problem in hypertension will cause emotional mental disorders or feelings that we often encounter, one of which is anxiety. Pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods can overcome anxiety problems experienced by patients; one of them is the Benson therapy technique. Benson relaxation will make a person feel relaxed. Based on this, the study aimed to determine the effect of applying Benson relaxation therapy procedures in reducing anxiety in patients who have hypertension. This research used a descriptive case study design. The research subject was 1 person, and data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation studies which were carried out 2 times a day for 7 days. The result obtained before giving therapy was that the client experienced anxiety with a HARS value of 24 (moderate anxiety) and the blood pressure was 160/80 mmHg, after being given Benson relaxation technique therapy 2 times a day in 7 days was that the HARS value became 16 (mild anxiety) and the blood pressure becomes 140/90 mmHg which means there was a decrease in anxiety levels. It is hoped that further researchers can consider the length of administration and for health workers to use this Benson relaxation therapy as an alternative in providing nursing care to patients with anxiety.","PeriodicalId":251564,"journal":{"name":"Adi Husada Nursing Journal","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127666254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Psychosocial problems are very prone to be experienced by people with chronic disease, especially the elderly, however, nurses tend to raise physical nursing problems, which makes psychosocial problems are still not sufficiently addressed as the implication. This study aims to determine the effect of family support on stress and anxiety levels in the elderly with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis therapy. Respondents in this study were elderly people with kidney disease who underwent hemodialysis therapy at Bhayangkara Hospital, Kediri City with certain criteria. The number of respondents who participated was obtained by accidental sampling technique. The data was obtained using a questionnaire for each variable and then it was tested using the Spearman correlation test. Comfort is an integral part of nursing work as a client's basic needs which is the goal of nursing work. The nursing approach to providing comfort to patients is based on Kolcaba's comfort theory. This theory includes comfort in four contexts of comfort, namely: physical, psychospiritual, sociocultural, and environmental. The purpose of this study was to compare irrigation techniques' effectiveness with manual extraction on the comfort level of cerumen-impacted patients using the Kolcaba comfort theory approach. This research is pre-experimental research with a \"two independent samples test\" approach. The sample was 40 respondents who had impacted cerumen, divided into 20 respondents who underwent ear irrigation and 20 respondents who underwent manual extraction. Analysis to determine differences in comfort levels after intervention using the Mann-Whitney test. Results & Analysis. The Mann-Whitney test showed P value = 0.000 (P <0.05), and there was a difference in the comfort level between irrigation and manual extraction. The action of ear irrigation further increases the respondent's sense of comfort compared to manual extraction, because irrigation is more effective in removing impacted cerumen characterized by clean ears and clearer hearing, and does not cause pain.","PeriodicalId":251564,"journal":{"name":"Adi Husada Nursing Journal","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130265492","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
