ZnO nanotetrapod emitters mixed with carbon nanotubes(CNTs) were fabricated by the screen-printing method. The potential distribution, electron trajectoryies distribution and current density distribution were simulated in detail with CST PARTICLE STUDIO code. A higher field emission density current was obtained in the double-cathode structure. We found the gate played an important role in the anode current enhancement by focusing effect.","PeriodicalId":249267,"journal":{"name":"IVESC 2012","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125447838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was found that the H2, CO2, and CO were outgassed from the diode during the working process. The field emission properties of the cold cathode, such as turn-on field, threshold field and the emission current density, were largely related to the pressure of the outgases. From the outgassing experimental results, the relations between the emission current degradation and the outgassing of field emission devices have been found.","PeriodicalId":249267,"journal":{"name":"IVESC 2012","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131307251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
