One of the most important aspects of the educational process at the university, along with obtaining a quality education, is the preservation of the health of students. Indicators of the effectiveness of the state of the visual system of students characterize the degree of adaptability of the system to the performance of the assigned tasks and are generalizing indicators of the optimal functioning of the visual system. In general, scientific studies of the visual system as a resource for information processing are developing similarly to studies of the visual analyzer. “Student health” refers to objective indicators and a subjective feeling of a complex state and harmony, characterized by good health, social well-being, and high working capacity. A survey was conducted to assess the awareness of the prevalence and knowledge of common eye diseases among the student population in the city of Kyzylorda. The results of a questionnaire survey on eye hygiene and major eye diseases are presented. Revealed the percentage of students' awareness and the state of eye health. Conclusions and recommendations are provided for solving awareness problems among students in terms of visual indicators. Today, one of the ways to increase the level of knowledge about the functioning of the visual analyzer, eye diseases and preventive measures is to promote health information programs, develop an elective course in the physiology of human sensory systems in the subject of Human Physiology.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. In the course of this study, 319 samples (32 pools) of ticks in the Zhambyl region were collected and examined for the presence of arboviruses. In 2021, the circulation of the CCHF virus was detected among ticks living in the Zhambyl region by the method of polymerase chain reaction with reverse transcription. The population of the CCHF virus in the Republic of Kazakhstan has not been studied more widely, there is no information on the genetic affiliation of the new virus isolates circulating in the country. Analysis of new data on the genetic diversity of the CCHF virus will make it possible to assess the current state of the virus population, to determine the boundaries of the distribution areas of genetic variants of the CCHF virus in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The work was performed using molecular genetic methods (isolation of nucleic acids, RT-PCR, DNA sequencing according to Sanger), the method of phylogenetic analysis using the Mega 7.0 program, the method of geoinformation analysis using the ArcGIS 10.4.1. program. The nucleotide sequences of the S segment fragment of two CCHF virus isolates isolated from ticks inhabiting the Zhambyl region were determined. Analysis of the nucleotide sequences of the S segment of two CCHF virus isolates showed that they belong to the Asia 2 genotype. New isolates are genetically close to the CCHF viruses isolated in South Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and India. The obtained materials will serve as the basis for the development of a strategy for epidemiological surveillance of natural focal infectious diseases in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. This approach allows for the preservation of valuable, endemic, and endangered plant species for a long time. One widely used method is medium-term storage in in vitro culture. In our work, we describe the results of medium-term storage of microclonally propagated shoots of an endangered and endemic species of the Malus niedzwetzkyana. In vitro preservation was realized with the help of osmotic agents in the nutrient medium. For this, there were studied the cultivation conditions such as temperature (4°C and 24°C) and photoperiod (16/8 and growing in the dark), and the composition of nutrient media to slow growth (sucrose, mannitol, PVP, abscisic acid). The research results showed that the optimal condition for medium-term storage of shoots is the QL nutrient medium with the addition of 3% or 6% sucrose under standard conditions (24°C, photoperiod 16/8). The optimized protocol made it possible to preserve Malus niedzwetzkyana explants for 2 months without recultivation. Moreover, the stage of explant recovery was fast, during only one passage.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The length of the entire river is 2428 km, over 1000 km in Western Kazakhstan. Floodplain forests are developed in three genetic parts: riverbed, central and near-terrace. Primary and derivative forests are distinguished according to the forest structure. The leading factor in the formation of the Ural River valley is geology and relief, in connection with which 4 natural regions have been identified for their floristic (630 plant species) and mycological diversity (77 macromycetes species). The course of evolution and transformation of the floromycological composition of forest communities is analyzed according to the composition of historical formations. In the studied region, 13 suites were identified in the understanding of G.M. Zozulin, among them, 6 suites that stand out well in modern floodplain forests are considered in more detail. When establishing the formations, the character of the modern distribution of species, there was considered their cenotic confinement, genetic relationships of individual species, the rhythm of development, and the vitality of species in the community. The process of the formation of the floromycological complex of floodplain forests is based on relict and migratory elements, enriched, and settled from the Southern Urals, as well as from the valley of the left tributaries of the Volga and Common Syrt. The formation of which took a long time from the Miocene to the Holocene.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. According to the World Health Organization and the International Agency for Research on Cancer, all forms of asbestos have adverse effects on the human body and can induce various forms of cancer. It has been evidenced by the inclusion of asbestos in the first category of the list of carcinogens. Today the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the largest asbestos-producing countries. An understanding of the key mechanisms of carcinogenesis due to inhalation of asbestos is needed to effectively diagnose asbestos-induced cancer in the early stages of development. The article reports on the most modern concepts of the genetic and molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis mediated by the effect of chrysotile asbestos and confirms the danger of this compound to human health.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. A comprehensive solution to the problem of maintaining the balance of nutrients in the soil is the use of bioorganic fertilizers that combine the ability to improve the mineral nutrition of plants, fixation of atmospheric nitrogen, as well as stimulate the growth and development of plants. In this paper, the growth-stimulating effect of biosubstrate on seeds of organic agricultural crops such as wheat, lentils, peas, and buckwheat is investigated. The object of research was a biosubstrate consisting of a biopreparation (Saccharomyces cerevisiae Z4 YRKM 0843, Lactobacillus casei 12/2C B-RKM 0844, Streptomyces collinus P1 Ac-RKM 0845) and cattle manure effluents. During laboratory research, the growth-stimulating effect of the biosubstrate on seed germination and their growth indicators was established. Namely, a 10% and 50% solution of the biosubstrate improved the germination and germination of seeds of agricultural plants more than a 25% solution. This biosubstrate can be recommended as an environmentally safe growth stimulator when growing organic types of agricultural plants. Thus, the use of bio-organic fertilizers based on growth-stimulating microorganisms in the cultivation of various crops reduces the chemical load on ecosystems and also leads to an increase in yields and the quality of environmentally friendly agricultural products.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. Asbestos particles, binding cations, leach the cell environment. The initiation of the release of dust particles activates the NF-kB signaling cascade, which in turn includes the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as thymus stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP). The increased level of these cytokines is directly related to malignant processes in the body. The aim of the study is to study the level of TSLP in the blood serum of people exposed to asbestos. The material for the study was cytokines isolated from the blood serum of 40 exposed to asbestos and 50 healthy people. Peripheral blood samples were collected from workers of the Zhitikara asbestos mining company of the city of Kostanay. The content of the main TSLP levels in blood serum was determined by ELISA the Human TSLP ELISA Kit (Biorbyt Ltd, UK, No. orb138077). The optical density of the reaction products was determined using a spectrophotometer with a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of TSLP in the blood serum was increased 3 times in persons exposed to asbestos compared to the control group (p = 0.000011). The concentration of the level of TSLP can serve as a diagnostic biomarker for a number of diseases that are induced by asbestos.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N.
