As a result, plants have evolved unique mechanisms at the morphological, physiological, and biochemical levels to help them resist, adapt, or survive severe environmental circumstances. Unfavorable environmental effects cause disruptions such as the inhibition of growth and photosynthesis, the closing of stomata, discoloration, and the accumulation of toxic forms of ROS in plants. However, currently, a substantial quantity of information has been gathered on the role of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Sunlight, temperature, salt content, heavy metals, air and water pollution, and UV radiation are all known to contribute to the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in plants. ROS harm plant systems structurally, causing a disruption in their equilibrium and the development of oxidative stress. Without appropriate control, the quantity of ROS in cells rises, causing oxidative damage to cell membranes, proteins, RNA and DNA molecules, and even cell death. It is critical to understand how plants respond to various stimuli and develop resistance to them. The review article aims to provide a general overview of the impact of oxidative stress on biomolecules in response to different abiotic stresses.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. According to the results of the study, the autumn algae flora includes 36 species including cyanobacteria. Most algae are beta-mesasaprobic species. Species diversity in Little Taldykol was low, which indicates the poor ecological condition of the lake in autumn. There are 35 species of coastal plants from 11 genera. Coastal vegetation of the studied areas includes mainly weeds and adventitious plants that are common in Central Kazakhstan. Garbage plants in the community have a negative impact on the study area, causing the spread of weeds.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. The aim of the scientific study is to monitor the phytophages of spring wheat according to ecological and geographical zones in the North-East of Kazakhstan (on the example of Pavlodar region). In the course of research, the evolutionary-ecological strategies of adaptations and life cycle tactics of phytophages in spring wheat crops, their trophic relationships, migration routes from crops to stations, and vice versa, influence of weather conditions of the growing season on reproduction, nutrition and their activity in agrocenoses, depending on the development phase of wheat were studied. The results obtained showed that starting from the germination and up to the stem elongation phase, cereal crops were colonized by latent-stem pests and Phyllotreta vittula. Schizaphis graminum, Psammotettix striatus, Trigonotylus ruficornis and Haplothrips tritici dominated in the stem elongation and heading phases. Haplothrips tritici in two forms (larvae and adults) and Schizaphis graminum dominated in the phase of grain formation-filling and milk development phase. The study showed that during the initial phases of wheat development, the majority of pests develop and feed on wild weed plants, subsequently migrating to the cereals. Thus, the conducted spring wheat crops research identified a complex of dominant crop pests (Haplothrips tritici, Chaetocnema hortensis, Phyllotreta vittula, Trigonotylus ruficornis, Psammotettix striatus) in the conditions of the North-East of Kazakhstan, but their distribution in general across the districts of the region and for different precedings is uneven.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. The use of biological plant protection measures will improve the quality of produced organic products, as well as will positively effect on soil recovery. Fungi of the genus Trichoderma are effective antagonists of many fungal pathogens of crops and natural alternative of chemical fungicides, characterized by rapid growth on cheap nutrient media. Studies all over the world show that consortia consisting of several microbial species or strains are more effective as a biological plant protection measure than preparations comprising a single microbial species or strain. Thus, the possibility of cultivating three different Trichoderma strains without inhabiting the growth and development of each individual strain as part of a separate consortium was studied by the method of counter cultures. As a result of the studies performed, three most compatible consortia numbered 2, 3 and 4 were selected, without noticeable suppression of the growth of each strain. Studies have also shown abundant growth and sporulation of Trichoderma strains on organic nutrient media based on bran and oat flour, rather than on synthetic Czapek-Dox medium. The selected consortia will be used in further research to identify their antagonistic properties in relation to various pathogens of agricultural crops. Moreover, the most optimal conditions will be determined, providing many conidia with a long shelf life.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. The article provides an overview of research papers published in peer-reviewed journals from 2015 to the present on the development and improvement of methods for testing milk and meat for antibiotics. Based on the literature review and the results of his own study, the author of the article notes the advantages of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) options over instrumental analytical methods, such as liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry and high-performance liquid chromatography. However, due to the complexity of the analysis procedure, ELISA kits are not used in food safety laboratories in the Republic of Kazakhstan and other CIS countries. The article describes the state and prospects for the development of simple rapid tests to determine the maximum residue limit (MRL) for antibiotics in livestock products, based on the use of Lateral Flow Assay (LFA). Such tests, not inferior in their sensitivity to ELISA and surpassing it in cost, could be used not only in laboratory conditions, but also directly by food consumers, which will contribute to reliable protection of public health and the development of animal husbandry.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. One of the most pressing problems in the Republic of Kazakhstan is the conservation of biodiversity and the rational use of biological resources. Fungi as heterotrophic organisms play a vital role in the functioning of any ecosystem. Although the fungi depend on plants, leaning towards sufficiently closed connections with certain plant communities, plant communities, in turn, are not able to exist without fungi. The study of macromycetes as components of biogeocenosis, is impossible without studying their species composition. The lack of information about macromycetes in the regions under study prevents not only the diversification and exhaustion of the study of the corresponding ecosystem and the development of a comprehensive approach to the protection of natural resources in the department. Especially limited information about the microflora of the West Kazakhstan region, the introduction of only episodic data requires a review of the history of the study of mycobiotics. This is evidenced by the materials provided in this article.","PeriodicalId":248021,"journal":{"name":"BULLETIN of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
