This paper sets out to establish the link between deposit insurance and bank system stability, with an empirical review on the Kenya banking system. At first, we argued that deposit insurance tends to bring stability in the banking sector by providing assurance to the depositors, thereby reducing the possibilities of bank run. However, such an interaction is only possible where other regulatory framework is available without banking competition. The results do not support our earlier arguments but point that deposit insurance coverage-stability nexus exists in the short run and tends to favour smaller banks. The results however support our second argument that with banking competition, the coverage-stability nexus is diluted as the banks competition increases bank appetite for risky activities regardless of the deposit insurance scheme. We recommend that policy makers should not focus a lot on increasing deposit insurance coverage limit, but rather on other supervisory framework, since the effect of the coverage on stability is felt in the short run. This study used multiple regression analysis with bank stability as the dependent variable. All the data were obtained from the Central Bank of Kenya website, Bank Supervision and Bank Sectors reports. The data covered the period from 2005 to 2020, both inclusive giving period of sixteen years. The study used secondary data as obtained from the bank supervision and bank sector reports. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used in data analysis.","PeriodicalId":246044,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Business & Management","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122021025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Globally, successful multinational Organizations usually develop adequate strategies for talent management. Simultaneously, these successful multinational organizations, in working towards best practices, provide ways for attracting the transfer of talent workers globally (Oluwatobi and Gabriel 2021). In Africa, talent management picked up in 2006 as can be seen in the works of Raphael and Eunice (2015).They also argued that since Africa has lost critical talented workers to developed economies, consequently, Africa is a serious need for talent management. A lot of talented workers have been lost by Africa, to developed countries like USA, UK, France, Canada, Australia etc. (Raphael and Eunice 2015). The empirical evidence in recent research studies particularly from Mary and Mary (2017) who studied on talent management influence on employee performance in multinational corporations in Africa revealed that 75% of African CEOs reported that they lacked talented workforce in other to achieve their organizational objectives. Again their report found that African countries were unable to retain, as well as develop talented workers because of numerous facts which Abstract: This study carefully searched secondary data sources on the link between management talent variables and perceived organizational performance in Multinational Corporation in Nigeria. It explored data based on the review of relevant studies. Talent management Variables have positive links with Perceived organizational Performance.
