The descriptive statistics showed a linear correlation between predictor and outcome variables using Auto Regressive Distributive Lag (ARDL) and Granger Causality method, further analysis revealed that of the three variables Broad Money Supply contributed most to the variance of the outcome at .762. The study therefore concludes there is a significant correlation between the three predictor variables and the outcome variable, and the model can be used for prediction purpose for forecasting. The paper recommends that the National Government eases the burden of the self-employed people in order that they may maximize their earnings in that sector especially as the owners of SMEs. Also, banks should be encouraged to have more innovative savings products. This will help the country have a locally developed savings culture that would support a nationally developed capital base. The paper recommends Government minimizes external borrowing so that more resources are directed to the private sector to help them grow the national wealth and create employment, while Banks be encouraged to pursue a modest interest rates spread.","PeriodicalId":246044,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Business & Management","volume":"2018 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128039732","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

GNI per capita is the main indicator used in determining whether a country is included in the MIT category or not. Factors suspected of influencing GNI per capita are Domestic Direct Investment, Foreign Direct Investment, Exports, Imports and the Infrastructure Budget. Data is sourced from the World Bank, BPS and other media. The year 2020 is the minimum time to establish as a Middle Income Country. The results of the study show that Indonesia has entered the MIT trap starting in 2020. From the results of the partial test and the simultaneous test, it can be concluded that Domestic Direct Investment, Foreign Direct Investment, Exports, Imports and the Infrastructure Budget have no significant effect on GNI per capita. The challenge faced by Indonesia in order not to be trapped in MIT is that Indonesia must increase its economic growth >6% per year. In order to get out of the MIT trap, it is necessary to map out investment priorities in order to optimize added value and at the same time absorb labor. The impression is liberating on investors, as a result investors prefer to service sectors that are capital intensive, not labor intensive.","PeriodicalId":246044,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Business & Management","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121552256","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is also concerned with the study of the activities of workers in the organization, ways of minimizing employee turnover, absenteeism, and aberrant behaviors in the organization; improvement on productivity, job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, and how the behavior of workers affects the performance of the organization (Frederick, 2014). Yet, organizations do not necessarily succeed in implementing the strategies set due to failure to pay close attention to strategy implementation components. Effective management of organizations calls for execution of strategy implementation dimensions, to make strategies work, organizations must get things done and do it in the right manner. Strategy implementation cannot be effective unless the strategy itself is designed to be executable. The implementation will not yield to exceptional organizational performance unless the strategies are designed around the achievement of overall organizational goals.Therefore, the purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of organizational culture as key strategy implementation dimension to the organizational performance of commercial state corporations in Kenya. This was a census study comprising of 34 commercial state corporations targeting 295 Senior Management Team (SMT) members. This study employed structural equation modelling to analyse relationships between variables and constructs. The results provided statistical evidence that a positive and significant influence exists between organizational culture as key strategy implementation dimension and organizational performance of the commercial state corporations. The relationship between organizational culture and organizational performance was significant at 0.05 level of significance. Therefore, the study concluded that organizational culture significantly influences organizational performance of commercial state corporations in Kenya. In practice, this study recommends that commercial state corporations need to pay attention to organizational culture as a key driver of well-articulated strategic plans thereby translating the intended strategies into improved organizational performance.","PeriodicalId":246044,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Business & Management","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127079619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence, the motivation of this study to examine the effect of current practices of EWRM on risk governance in MFBs in Nigeria. Design/Methodology: The study adopted survey research design to define the structure and strategy of the study. Targeting microfinance banks in the north east region of Nigeria, 222 MFBs were selected as at 31 st December, 2020. The required data were collected from respondents using structured questionnaire and financial statement of the banks. The data collected were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings: The analyses of the study revealed that board of directors’ oversight, human resources competence, internal audit effectiveness, and top management commitment have positive and significant effect on risk management effectiveness of the microfinance banks in Nigeria. Furthermore, regular risk compliance was found to have positively moderates the relationship between human resource competence and risk management effectiveness, and the relationship between top management commitment and risk management effectiveness. However, the results indicates that regular risk management negatively moderates the relationship between internal audit effectiveness and risk management effectiveness and the relationship between board of directors’ oversight and risk management effectiveness. Implications: The current enterprise-wide risk management practices among MFBs in the North East Nigeria has a positive and significant effect on risk governance of the banks, which invariably enhance the performance of the banks. Furthermore, the internal control mechanism instituted by the regularity authority and the Board of Directors has enhance EWRM practices and MFBs performance. Among HR professionals and academics, employee engagement has become a hot topic, with some saying that it is a critical driver of business success. Meanwhile, engaged employees love their work more and turn that pleasure into more productive actions. Consequently, we propose this new concept. This research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach to interpret the influence of transformational leadership on employee engagement and explain the dimensions of transformational leadership. The investigation was carried out in the plywood industry's labor supply sector, on the large island of South Kalimantan in Indonesia. The population is 4,200 workers with 343 workers involved in the sample. Simple linear regression was used to analyze the data using SPSS Version 23 for Windows. The findings from the regression support the 5 hypotheses. Transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on employee engagement. Likewise, the 4 dimensions of transformational leadership (ideal influence, intellectual stimulation, inspirational motivation, and individual considerations) have a significant positive effect on employee engagement. This study examines the impact of transformational leadership on employee engagement. Next, it focuses on the impact of each dimension on employee involvement in the labor supply sector of the plywood industry on the large island of South Kalimantan in Indonesia. The study revealed that transformational leadership, and each of its dimensions (i.e., idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, motivational inspiration, and individual consideration) had a significant positive effect on employee engagement. The findings suggest that organizations can increase employee engagement by developing transformational leaders in the context of the plywood industry.","PeriodicalId":246044,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Business & Management","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116422992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
