The study was guided by three research questions. It adopted the quantitative descriptive survey design using two questionnaires; Sexual Curiosity and Sexual Behaviour Scales. Using probability sampling techniques, a sample of 222 senior high school students was selected. The data gathered was analysed descriptively. using frequencies, percentages, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between Curiosity and sexual behaviour among adolescents meaning sexual curiosity, Sexual behaviours among adolescents also increased. With such a revelation, it was assumed that most adolescent students were likely to engage in risky sexual behaviours due to curiosity. The study recommended, among other things, that counsellors and the Ministry of Education plan programmes and activities for adolescents in school to reduce sexual curiosity and as parents also keep their eyes on their children, storing sex-oriented materials away and keeping boys and girls in separate rooms at the domestic level.","PeriodicalId":245327,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Rehabilitation and Special Education (IJRSE)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114744215","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study employed explanatory sequential design. The participants were 32 science tutors from Colleges of Education in the Volta Region of Ghana, who were purposively selected based on having direct instructional contacts with students all the time and their teaching experiences within and outside colleges. Questionnaire, Rating Scale, and Interview were used to collect data. It was found that science tutors have different knowledge on content, learning style, learner interest, learner diversity, process, product, and lesson planning. The findings also revealed that majority (80%) of science tutors who did not differentiate instruction in their classrooms have the knowledge of differentiated instruction but their failure to make use of DI was due to scarcity of time, complex nature of DI, high level of workload. The results also revealed that, majority (80%) of the science tutors did not use their assessment feedback to guide their instruction. These science tutors said marking schemes were always given to the students for self-correction. The results from classroom observation showed that these tutors do not teach to meet the diverse needs of learners. Majority of the participants still hold to traditional classroom teaching strategies based on one size-fits-all approach which proved to be ineffective. The study recommended that mentoring universities should organize workshops on the differentiated instructional for tutors and mount course in DI for student teachers.","PeriodicalId":245327,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Rehabilitation and Special Education (IJRSE)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115159381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A questionnaire with 12 questions was distributed to 154 senior high school instructors from 20 different senior high schools. The study's conclusions showed that instructors had a very high level of efficacy. According to the findings of a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test about teacher qualifications, there was no statistically significant difference between the means of the six different groups of teacher professional credentials on teacher efficacy. According to the findings of a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test about teacher qualifications, All Ashanti Region teachers are strongly encouraged to participate in ongoing professional development activities. The researcher felt the need to critically examine the concept of free education and probe into the very nature of the education itself. The researcher adopted the inductive approach by raising questions. The findings of this paper is that education cannot be entirely free, as there is always a price to pay and the nature of the education itself betrays its primary purpose and consequently, other purposes. Borrowing from existing examples, this paper suggested some tactical and strategic reforms and concluded that Nigeria’s education, which is “free” would not be its own until radical reforms are made.","PeriodicalId":245327,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Rehabilitation and Special Education (IJRSE)","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126315956","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In a style of a quantitative research, the paper applied the SPSS version 23.0 and PLS-SEM version 3.0 for the analysis to understand the cause and effect and the mean of the differences in the constructs. As a cross-sectional study, data were collected from 393 HND Students II Business School, Bauchi, Federal Polytechnic Institute, Bauchi State, Nigeria. The result of the research shows a positive and meaningful relationship between entrepreneurship education and attitudes towards entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy and self-efficacy and entrepreneurship intention. Again, a negative impact was empirically proven between entrepreneurship attitude and entrepreneurship intention and entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship intention. However, while testing for mediating effects of entrepreneurship attitude and self-efficacy. The result reveals that entrepreneurship attitude does not mediates the link between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention, while self-efficacy links entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention. The result confirms with previous studies in this field. Future studies recommends that more research should be carried out in the same institution for instance, from school of engineering, school of general studies to mention but a few. In the same vein, researchers should carry out studies from universities and colleges of education within the region. Again, entrepreneurship attitude should be used to test the moderating effect of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship intention and also a longitudinal study should be carried out.","PeriodicalId":245327,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Rehabilitation and Special Education (IJRSE)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116346588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Special education teachers were unexpectedly more aware of the academic and behavior features related to speech and language difficulties. However, training, advice as well as resource availability saw special educationists lacking whereas slp/ts showed a consistent pattern of having received the necessary training and resources.  \u0000Conclusion(s): A special education environment is designed to fulfill an individual’s needs, whether they be physical, sensory, cognitive or communicative and to achieve that goal, a compatible team of healthcare professionals and special educators is crucial. In this particular scenario, there is an impending need for both speech language pathologists/therapists and special educators to understand the prerequisites of each other’s role and more importantly how they can assist to provide better Individualized Education Plans(IEPs)(5), improve peer and staff interactions, prevent undesired behavioral interactions, evolve the academic experience and the therapeutic intervention necessary to enhance the quality of life of an individual with speech-language and communication needs.","PeriodicalId":245327,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Rehabilitation and Special Education (IJRSE)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121125739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
