One of the trigger factors of PV performance degradation is shading due to passing clouds and high objects surrounding the PV area. This study aimed to examine the impact of shading on the performance degradation of polycrystalline (pc-Si) and mono-crytalline (mc-Si) modules – common PV technologies installed on solar home systems in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) province, Indonesia. The shading patterns were simulated to cover the modules horizontally and vertically. Experimental results showed that short circuit current (Isc) and open circuit voltage (Voc) generated by the two solar module technologies decreased proportionally with the increasing of shading levels. Compared to the Voc, Isc was the more affected parameter caused by shading. Furthermore, it was found that mc-Si was the technology that accounted more degradation than pc-Si.","PeriodicalId":243340,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Engineering, Science, and Commerce, ICESC 2019, 18-19 October 2019, Labuan Bajo, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126575390","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Stunting is a chronic nutritional deficiency problem caused by lack of nutritional intake for a long time, resulting in a disturbance to the child's growth, which is a lower or shorter child (dwarf) than the standard of his age, Especially in the first thousand golden age of life. The first thousand days of life is counted from the 9 months of a child in terms of mothers up to 2 years of life (0-23 months). The Data on the basic health Research (RISKESDAS) in 2018 shows the prevalence of stunting in the national sphere of 30.8%, consisting of a short prevalence of 19.3% and very short at 11.5%, and the highest percentage in 2018 is in Nusa Tenggara province. Eastern (42.6%). NTT ranked first in the province for stunting status and the parameters used to determine stunting status are based solely on the age of weight (BB/U), which is on the card to the Healthy (KMS). The urgency of the problem, is to classify the stunting status specifically based on the standard characteristics of the WHO use the K-means Clustering algorithm. The objective of the study is to obtain the classification results with the algorithm method of the Clustering K-means in determining the stunting status in children under the age of two years. The method of implementing this research is CRISP-DM (Cross Industry Standard Process for Data mining) model.","PeriodicalId":243340,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Engineering, Science, and Commerce, ICESC 2019, 18-19 October 2019, Labuan Bajo, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127635924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Tallo during peak hours condition. Congestion often occurs in the mornings and evenings. In addition, there is a merging of the 4/2T road segment into 2/2TT which results in a buildup of traffic flow at that point so that some vehicles have to move outside the body of the road. This illustrates that the traffic flow and capacity of this road section are not proportional to the traffic volume at peak hours. Analysis of the capacity and performance of roads is based on the PKJI 2014. The results show that the performance of Jalan Piet A. Tallo Kupang in current conditions is heavily loaded because it exceeds the capacity of the road so that a queue of vehicles moves and stops alternately.","PeriodicalId":243340,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Engineering, Science, and Commerce, ICESC 2019, 18-19 October 2019, Labuan Bajo, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114745851","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One effort to meet water needs, especially in locations that are higher in position than springs, is to use a water pump. The types of pumps commonly used today are water pumps powered by electric motors or combustion engines with fuel oil (diesel or gasoline). For urban areas the need for fuel oil is not too much of a problem. Meanwhile, in rural or remote areas the existence of Fuel oil is very stepped, even if there is a very expensive price. Ram pumps can be one solution, the problem is that rivers or water sources that have high waterfalls cannot be found near the settlement area, it can only be found in remote areas far from settlements. For this reason, the purpose of this research is to design and build a ram pump with the ideal slope angle of the Launch pipe which can improve the performance of the ram pump. Conducted research using a 11⁄2-inch hydram pump at a 1.2m fall height by varying the slope angle of the launch pipe and the Launch pipe diameter, obtained the best pump performance at 11.5 angle variations and 50mm pipe diameter","PeriodicalId":243340,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Engineering, Science, and Commerce, ICESC 2019, 18-19 October 2019, Labuan Bajo, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia","volume":"272 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124400492","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
