In this study, we have proposed a fair scheduling algorithm for the A-MSDU aggregation that transmits the MSDUs according to their priority based on their lifetime. To prepare a suitable site for ZnO nanostructures to grow, the TiO2 seed layer was pre-coated on glass substrate by sol-gel spin-coating. The coated TiO2 thin films were heated at different annealing temperatures; 350, 400, 450, 500 and 550 C for 2 hours in order to determine the best optical quality of the seed layer film for growth of ZnO nanostructures by solution-immersion method. The optical properties of the TiO2: ZnO thin films, as a function of TiO2 annealing temperature have been studied by Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy and UV-Vis (Ultraviolet Visible) spectroscopy. Compared to as-grown TiO2 seed layer, red shift was observed on the PL emission peaks of annealed TiO2 seed layer in visible region. This is due to the presence of interstitial oxygen (Oi-). To determine the optical quality and stoichiometric properties of the films, the ratio of the UV emission peak intensity and the visible emission peak intensity, IUV/IVIS were calculated to be 0.32, 0.77, 0.88, 1.50, 1.05 and 0.36 for as-grown, 350, 400, 450, 500 and 550 C, respectively. The higher the intensity of the ratio IUV/IVIS, the better the optical quality of the thin films is. In OLEDs application, the organic materials play the role of emitting light once the current is passed through. The electrical properties and surface morphology study are investigated for poly [2-methoxy-5(2'-ethylhexyloxy)-phenylene vinylene) (MEH-PPV) with zinc oxide (ZnO) nanocomposite films prepared using spin coating technique. The MEH-PPV/ZnO nanocomposite films were deposited on ITO coated glass substrates at various weight percentage concentrations. The surface morphology (FESEM) investigation showed that the nanotetrapods size of ZnO increased with higher concentration up to 0.4 wt%. In LS-SVM, the accuracy of the prediction is depends on the selection of kernel parameters. Unfortunately, there is no systematic methodology for selection of their optimal values. Therefore, a novel hybrid Quantum-Inspired Evolutionary Programming - Least Squares Support Vector Machine (QIEP-SVM) is developed for accurate prediction. In QIEP-SVM, Quantum-Inspired Evolutionary Programming (QIEP) is developed to optimise selected parameters for the LS-SVM which are gamma and sigma. QIEP is combining Evolutionary Programming (EP) with quantum mechanics concepts such as interference and superposition in order to enhance classical Evolutionary Programming (EP). The optimal output of DG is first generated using multiobjective Quantum-Inspired Evolutionary Programming (QIEP) at various loading condition according to 24-hours load profile. The data from the simulations are then used as the inputs to the Least-Squares Support Vector Machine (LS-SVM). There are three inputs which are active load (MW), reactive load (MVAR) and minimum voltage (p.u). Whereas, there are five outputs that represents the output of DG at five buses. The objective function for the optimisation process is to minimise the mean square error between predicted and targeted output. The performance of QIEP-SVM is then compared to classical LS-SVM using cross-validation technique and hybrid Artificial Neural Network-Quantum-Inspired Evolutionary Programming (QIEP-ANN). The results of QIEP-SVM model had shown better prediction performance as compared to classical LS-SVM and QIEP-ANN. The voltage controlled SPMC has a similar output voltage as compared to the input voltage which is 12Vac. The THD at the input and the output of the SPMC also reduced to below than 5%. The SPMC is controlled by a feedback control that measures the output voltage that has to be compared with the set point, Vref. This paper is based on the simulation done using MATLAB/Simulink. The transformation techniques are namely: Discrete Cosine Transform, Discrete Wavelet Transform, Integer Wavelet Transform and Principal Component Analysis. These transformations are applied to magnetic resonance image (MRI) and computed tomography image (CT). These modalities provide the reviewing of the anatomical cross sections and physiological states of patient. Hence, this paper is aimed to overcome this problem by using RFID-ARDUINO approach in web-based laboratories attendance system. The propose system will assist the lab instructor to record and manage the student attendance automatically. In addition, the system also provides an evaluation section for lab instructor to key-in and manage the student's experiment marks. The system is divided into two parts, which are the web-based development and system integration with the RFID-ARDUINO technology. An Arduino Uno microcontroller board is use as the hardware platform. Meanwhile, the web design is developed in Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Fireworks and deploy in XAMPP application server. Visual Basic scripting is use to integrate between hardware and SQL database. The films were prepared by sol-gel spin-coating method to fabricate ZnO-based sensors. The sensitivity upon exposure to methane (CH4) gas at room temperature was investigated. The results show that the lowest resistivity of 0.752 × 106 Ω-cm was obtained for the ZnO nanostructures prepared at thickness of 170 nm. The sensor is prepared by coating the immobilized indicator in a sol-gel thin film onto the uncladded middle portion of a multimode plastic clad silica (PCS) fiber. The evanescent wave is used to selectively excite the indicator molecules within the fiber cladding for sampling the aqueous media surrounding the fiber. Changes in the pH of the analyte are detected by measuring the absorption spectrum of the sol-gel cladding in the sensing region of the optical fiber. pH buffer 1-14 were used to examine the response of the sensor. The sensor response and its dynamic range are reported for bromophenol blue (BPB) dye. The intensity of the absorption measured in the 470-850 nm spectral range has been found to increase as the pH value increases. The thickness of the protective layer was determined and applied in the Continuous Wave (CW) and Pulse Echo (PE) ultrasound velocity equations. Corrected Continuous Wave (CCW) was determined as the most accurate fat measurement method and used to measure the intramuscular fat content in chicken fillets. Standard fat measurement method, Soxhlet Method was used to validate the result. The results from the research suggested that it is possible to measure intramuscular fat content non-invasively using ultrasonic velocity measurement. The improvement of the ultrasonic velocity measurement has increased the correlation between fat content measured using Soxhlet Method and ultrasonic velocity compared to the previous research (r= -0.657 vs. r = -0.411).
