The induced emf always such that it opposes the change that gives rise to it, according to Lenz's law. In our work, we are considering in controlling the magnetic flux distribution through an air-gap during the energy transfer from the source to load. This research has put a core situation in investigating the possible ways of charging the batteries via mutual induction as in transformers. This enables the charging process to be cableless. It involves two coils transferring energy from one to the other through air in the most efficient way. Our work is presented in this paper. Simulation and hardware implementation has been carried out successfully. We have measured the magnetic flux density for ac input voltage of 100 Volt with different frequency values. The optimum frequency in our design is 25 Hz. We found that it is possible to control the magnetic flux distribution during energy transmission by optimizing the frequency and shielding the flux path.","PeriodicalId":239300,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. Vehicle speeds are detected by Doppler radar speed sensor and then sent to a micro controller. The micro controller is programmed to detect the signal and calculate the speed of vehicle, display data on LCD, and concurrently send data to PC through RS-232 port via serial communication interface. The GUI for PC is developed with VB6 programming to receive data from micro controller and capture picture. VB6 is programmed to manual capture an image and also auto capture and auto save an image in directory if vehicle speed is over speed limit selected from micro controller. In this paper, the use of micro controller for speed control and protection of dc motor is presented. The peculiarity of this method is its adaptability to different ratings of motors. These parts are difficult to machine due to its irregular surface curvatures and the complex features. This paper presents the application of CAD/CAM in modelling, process planning and fabrication of a complex mechanical part called \"landing gear connector fitting\". The part is modelled using UniGraphics CAD/CAM system. The process planning is developed and tool path simulation is carried out. NC codes are then generated for machining using CNC milling machine. Solar energy is one of the most promising solutions, which offer an actual clean, environmental friendly, renewable and alternative energy option. The main objective of this project is to store the energy from the sun in another form of energy. Hydrogen storage is chosen for its potential to make a clean energy option and low cost in construction. The development for hydrogen-fuel economy which had rapid increase in industrial application had also influent the decision of this project. In this work, the solar energy applications in Malaysia have been investigated and converted to an electric energy by using the photovoltaic cells. Electrolysis, which is the simplest process to generate hydrogen, is powered by the DC voltage from the photovoltaic cell instead of using the battery as power supply.","PeriodicalId":239300,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. It is based on distributed feedback dye laser action instead of the conventional propagation of femtosecond pulses through open air or photonic molecules. Novelty of the technique, ease and economy make it attractive for continual spectral lines generation. Although, this work was carried out by pumping dye solution with only six pulses to generate 45 nm wide supercontinuum, consisting of nine distinct coherent lines, but the principle may be extended to any desired spectral range, depending upon the available gain medium and number of pumping pulses. Successful design and operation of multi-wavelength laser source, an off white supercontinuum, using a mode-locked and frequency doubled picosecond Nd:YAG laser is presented to demonstrate filamentation in atmosphere.","PeriodicalId":239300,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. In the non-secured video conferencing, an attacker can sniffed, eavesdropped unauthorized interception and spoofed the packet sender/receiver address. A secured video conferencing test-bed consisting two PCs with IPv4/IPv6 stack has been implemented on the Linux platform using IPSec protocol. The security test includes FTP and PING/PING6 between two PCs.
