A generative statistical model of human shape (SCAPE) and a correspondence algorithm based on convolutional neural networks. The correspondences are used to control a nonrigid iterative closest points (NICP) algorithm which is regularized by a SCAPE model. We expect that this approach will mitigate the initialization problem of NICP and detect correspondence mismatches of a trained feature extractor.","PeriodicalId":238901,"journal":{"name":"2016 12th IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133515416","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This device includes haptic and audio feedback options from which the user can select. A Smart Phone can be used to control the device using predefined voice commands and Bluetooth connectivity. The device is portable and the purpose of its usage is to warn the user when objects are present on the walking path so collision can be avoided. Distance measurements, between the user and possible obstacles, are performed using ultrasonic echolocation and the data provided by the ultrasonic sensor is processed by a microcontroller, which also handles the feedback part. The hardware design, software architecture and mechanical design of the enclosure as well as the breadboard prototyping are covered in this material. Experimental results performed in different functionality scenarios demonstrate that the proposed system can be successfully used to fulfill its purpose.","PeriodicalId":238901,"journal":{"name":"2016 12th IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC)","volume":"199 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124032242","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All these improvements aim to present a more realistic world in the game, such as Asseto Corsa, a racing car simulator that aims to provide a driving experience as close as possible to reality when a steering wheel and pedals are connected to a computer. This paper tries to improve the general solution where the server can communicate with only one UDP plugin. In general, the reason behind the existence of plugins is to extend the functionality of the software. Plugins are usually concerned with extending the functionality in one direction and, therefore, if the user wants to have as many functions, it is necessary to have more plugins. In this paper, we present a solution, in order to provide this access to multiple plugins to Assetto Corsa servers.","PeriodicalId":238901,"journal":{"name":"2016 12th IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC)","volume":"07 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127440824","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper is focused on how the weight and thickness of the multicopter power wires affects the flight time keeping in mind that the flight time is directly related to the weight of the multirotor. A high diameter wire can lower the energy loss but will increase the weight of the system resulting shorter flight time. The author had developed an application who analyze the multirotor configuration and give a graphical estimation of the best wire to use.","PeriodicalId":238901,"journal":{"name":"2016 12th IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129955254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The simplest solution for CR spectrum sensing is provided by Energy Detection (ED) algorithms due to their independence on the Primary User (PU) signal's characteristics. Recently, we proposed an ED algorithm, which decides on the PU signal presence considering a sequence of three consecutive sensing slots, i.e., Three-Event ED (3EED). Even if the 3EED algorithm can operate without prior knowledge of the PU signal's characteristics, it operates best for low duty cycle values of PU, surpassing other known ED algorithms in terms of detection performance. However, it was shown that the 3EED algorithm introduces an additional detection delay of maximum one sensing slot. In this paper, we analyse the average detection delay for the 3EED algorithm and how this delay is related to the detection performance and the PU signal's duty cycle. Moreover, we propose and analyse a modified version of the 3EED algorithm that does not introduce an additional delay.","PeriodicalId":238901,"journal":{"name":"2016 12th IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC)","volume":"138 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124345900","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
