The motor speed measured by means of an optical encoder is controlled by varying the voltage level applied by pulse with modulation (PWM). A graphical user interface (GUI) based application is builded in LabVIEW environment to control Arduino Uno board as low-cost solution for data acquisition board in this educational tool. The performance of the proposed system is analysed through several experiments.","PeriodicalId":238901,"journal":{"name":"2016 12th IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC)","volume":"26 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123243483","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The authors use as a link between the renewable source and the grid a quasi-resonant zero current switching half wave buck converter, in order to decrease the switching losses for the main switch of the circuit and to improve the overall efficiency of the system. The simulation results confirm the operation of the circuit proposed by the authors.","PeriodicalId":238901,"journal":{"name":"2016 12th IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC)","volume":"296 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123462167","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To reach this goal, a chaos based cryptosystem is implemented using client side and server side technologies. The RSA key pair for encryption and decryption is generated and sent to the server which uses it to encrypt the initial condition and the parameters of the chaotic map. This approach allows us to encrypt the image with the public key and decrypt it only with the private key. Thus the problem of keys management that encounter the chaos-based symmetric cryptosystems is resolved. The proposed method is used to design a suitable web application and the results indicated that our approach provides a fast and secure process for the image transmission.","PeriodicalId":238901,"journal":{"name":"2016 12th IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128002121","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Original and ingenious mechanical structure was designed to decouple movements on two axes to simplify mathematical modeling for the system. Surface movement, sensitive to the touch, is a touch screen that provides position information of the ball. Drive systems are used as actuators found in plane modeling. The paper presents the structure of the system hardware and software, mathematical modeling and simulation in Matlab-Simulink for obtaining response to step signals on the two axes (Ox and Oy). Implementation of the control algorithm, the orders on a smartphone, the information processing and displaying the movement, the control signals and other information can be seen on the personal computer and are original implementations and with teaching purposes.","PeriodicalId":238901,"journal":{"name":"2016 12th IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131451904","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The pattern matching uses a previously learned picture pattern from the robotic arm's image and with image comparison can search for the specific pattern in the target image with the robotic arm. The 3D reconstruction is done detecting feature points in images and assigning the corresponding homologoues point. A bundle block adjustment with and without preknowledge of the camera orientations is used to coregister images of one image set. Next, dense matching is performed to calculate 3D object points for most of the image points. Resulting dense 3D point clouds are coregistered to other point clouds and polygonal building models. Facade textures are extracted from the images using corrected camera orientations of the 3D reconstruction. Change detection can be done based on 3D geometry and on radiometric changes like detected temperature changes in TIR based textures.","PeriodicalId":238901,"journal":{"name":"2016 12th IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115235847","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
