Some problems become obstacles in transactions, such as the availability of an internet network so that digital e-money applications can be operated. In addition, there are threats in the form of fraud and hacking from cyberspace that make users worry that it can harm users. This quantitative descriptive research aims to determine how big institutions' opportunities, challenges, strengths, and constraints are in non-cash transactions with SWOT analysis. The data in the research were obtained through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The study results show that Baitul Maal Hidayatullah (BMH) institutions have not optimally utilized digital media through payment channels. The SWOT analysis results show that the opportunity for the BMH institution is 2.88, and the strength is 2.50. So that the institution has the potential to seize existing opportunities by choosing a digital strategy in a medium (growing) state, meaning that the institution is in good condition choosing this step. Even though it has not been felt optimally, success has been marked by BMH income from 2019 of Rp. 648,300,529 and 2021 Rp. 799,775,147 increased by a margin of 8% even during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.","PeriodicalId":238752,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127776564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study also sought to interrogate how CBR be localized in Kenya to meet the sociocultural, health, education and economic needs of young people with visual impairment. When CBR was first developed in the 1980s, it was centered on providing access to community-level health and therapy. The World Health Organization (WHO) saw CBR as a strategy to increase access to rehabilitation services at community level for people with disabilities. However, the CBR approach has evolved into a much broader, multisectoral approach to inclusivity at community level in supporting and increasing development (WHO, 2017). Young people with disabilities in Kenya are generally not accessed equal opportunities and work participation in the community. They are marginalized owing to cultural biases and severity of disabilities which interact with such factors as gender, age and poverty.","PeriodicalId":238752,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125101968","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The collection of ethnographic data was based on the ethnographic method, under the terms of an online ethnography or otherwise Netnography. Oral history was also used as a method, through which everyday memory is projected as a quest of social history. Finally, for the presentation and analysis of the data, Geertz's model of \"thick description\" was adopted. An important parameter in the analysis and interpretation of the data is the concept of \"reflection\", which also was used in this paper. From the data analysis was found that, the Greek traditional dance has a particularly important role in multicultural nations such as America. More specifically, the findings of this study indicate that cultural heritage and cultural identity remain important, even in immigrant generations who have been born and raised in America and who have moved significantly away from the behavior and action patterns of Greeks. In particular, all the survey informants stated that their participation in Greek traditional dance classes and events has to do with preserving their Greek cultural heritage. In conclusion, it can be said that the Greek traditional dance in the American state of Chicago is experienced as a manifestation of the cultural expression of the Greek heritage, but also a way of understanding ‘Greekness’ in the wider American context.","PeriodicalId":238752,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116544462","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Following the dissolution of the USSR, Poland began to show its openness to become part of the European Union as a supranational organization that regulates various policies at the national level for its members. However, regulations regarding guarantees for upholding human rights for every individual, including the LGBT community group have resulted in a separate shift for Poland as a country that still adheres to the religious values it adheres to. This is caused by the presence of conservative groups in society who refer to the ideology of populism as a rationale that is starting to strengthen in the country. Populism, which is represented through the presence of the political elite of the PiS party as the holder of parliamentary power, makes the response of the government of this country tend to be intolerant and antipathy towards upholding the rights of LGBT people. Therefore, in recent years, the act of upholding rights and the rejection of discrimination against LGBT people has become one of the social issues that are increasingly facing challenges and testing Poland's level of inclusivity in the future.","PeriodicalId":238752,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132043512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This has resulted in increased rates of unsafe abortions and unintended pregnancies among the student population. It is against this background that this thesis sought to establish the SRH concerns, needs and priorities of university students in Nairobi County in Kenya. The Social Economic Model guided the study in understanding the problem while the Andersen and Newman Framework of Health Services Utilization guided the study in identifying possible solutions to the challenges identified. The targeted population was students studying in universities with main campuses in Nairobi County. Stratified random sampling was used to select the four public and private universities (Kenyatta University, Multimedia University of Kenya, United States International University - Africa and KCA University) which were part of the study. The study was guided by cross-sectional and exploratory research designs. The target population was 192,193 students. Stratified random sampling was used to select the three hundred and seventy (370) students who completed the study questionnaires. Sixteen key informants were purposefully selected to participate in-depth interviews while four focus group discussions (FGDs) of either gender were carried out. The study established that university students are most concerned about getting infected with HIV/AIDS followed by getting pregnant or impregnating someone. The study revealed that what the students need the most is access to condoms, pills and contraceptives for pregnancy prevention and youth friendly services. The study also revealed that university students prioritize confidentiality, the cost of SRH services and being attended by friendly healthcare providers in this order.","PeriodicalId":238752,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123419002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite the subject of Quality of Life (QoL) being extensively researched, there is little or no focus on explaining this concept as applicable to persons with VI&B. Furthermore, there is no unified characterization of QoL as a construct although diverse views have been presented in general. This paper seeks to explore the concept of QoL in the specific domain of persons with VI&B. In the process, a comprehensive literature search was carried out using multiple electronic databases where 239 publications were consulted. Selected papers were subjected to a content analysis to identify conceptual and measurement principles pertaining to their QoL. The existing vision-specific QoL instruments are mostly domain specific and focus on the medical aspect of a life of quality, disregarding the influence of environmental and personal factors that contribute to their well-being. Results of the analysis pointed to the fact that QoL of persons with VI&B should draw attention to their specific needs, expectations, and values, where a comprehensive characterization that encompasses physical, psychological, social, material, and environmental aspects, along with an evaluation of the individual’s participation, autonomy, personal development, and the impact of vision requires to be explored. This multi-dimensional conceptual model could be used as the basis for the development of a new measure for the assessment of overall quality of life for persons with VI&B.","PeriodicalId":238752,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131144113","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Women have a lot of options to increase their income by working in the livestock sector. Livestock provides meat, milk, eggs, and other food products, which are generally considered key assets for rural livelihood, that are dietary staples for population. For the women's livelihood and to help ensure the food security of the household, livestock is a crucial non-land productive asset. The tiny, marginal, and landless farmers in rural areas are the owners of more than 70% of the livestock. Compared to male workers, self-employed women are more likely to work in livestock production. Women add value and market the majority of animal farming activities, including fodder collection, feeding, watering, health care, animal management, milking, and household-level processing. Although rural women have a significant role in livestock management activities, however, their participation is low in certain decision-making activities. The present review elaborates in detail on the contribution of women in livestock management activities, different constraints faced by them in the livestock sector, and different areas where successful interventions can be undertaken to address the challenges faced by women in the livestock sector.","PeriodicalId":238752,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115415458","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Inextricably linked to the human environment are burial grounds. It's been a common belief for a very long time that after someone dies, their spirit lives on in another form. The study used the Ethnological theory approach by John (2018) which takes into consideration the subculture of a group or group that has a common culture, it’s goal is creating a detailed and comprehensive descriptions of the community and then interpret the ingrained patterns. Achieving the aspirational goal of becoming an ancestor after death is impossible if one attempts to use advance care directives in Africa to request an unnatural death. This study has not been explored previously and therefore adds value to theories and realities of roadside graves or burial grounds. The inter-prettiest paradigm served as the driver to the entire research process for this study. According to interpretivists, reality can only be fully understood by the subjective interpretation of and intervention in reality, hence it focuses on the complexities of meaning as enacted in symbols, language, and social interactions. The study reviewed literature on both primary and secondary literature on culture, graves and traditions. The methods used to collect the data for this study included interviews, observation, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews and transcribed and analysed into themes. The targeted groups was traditional chiefs, sub-chiefs, opinion leaders, religious groups, accidentally sampled individuals 40 years below and 40 years above. Key amongst the findings include: Ancestors should be kept at a place for easy access (“Akantifi” meaning edge of city in Akan). They also believe the dead are part of them (living) and they need not throw them away; hence, they must be nearer them or by the roadside. They also added that is for traditional spiritual protection of the community (either the ‘entrance’ of the town or when leaving the town) and for easy ritual performance. As a policy implication, Offinso North and for that matter Akumadan Traditional area of Ghana is rich in cultural and traditional belief systems. These cultural and traditional believe systems must be properly documented as part of the rich culture of the traditional area. A tourism hub must be created to take care of the area's rich culture.","PeriodicalId":238752,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133068415","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
